Eric / Tripp - make sure you check the revision of the motor mount being purchased. My parent company (Barry Controls) makes the motor mounts for the Buells and there was a design change. The mount on my bike is the 'original' one, therefore - not the good one.

I'll try to get some more detail from the engineer on Monday...Better yet...I'll see if I can get a couple of the mounts...so don't put that order in yet...

we have all the gaskets in stock and the battery but i would have to order the bearings, tie bar mount and fancy plugs.
so far i have'nt been able to sell any of the cool race (and obsolete) stuff we have, i posted in old school, quick board and the sponsor section with no results, i hope i can get some of that stuff to good homes!

Figures...I busted my but getting my snowblower fixed before the storm on Thursday - waited 3 weeks for the transmission shaft to come in. So I figured I had done my part to battle the Murphy's Law that if you are prepared for something it will not happen. Well that didn't work.

Instead Murphy opted for; it will break when it is most inconveinient. As I was cleaning up Sunday morning I got into some heavier stuff on the bottom half of the drive way and the engine...stalled. Ok, no big deal...backed it up, pulled twice and it started right up...got back in the snow and kaput...rrrrrrrrr....went to pull on it again...yup, you got it...it hadn't stalled...it seized!

So now I'm back to rebuilding the machine again...with the driveway only 70% cleared and now frozen like a popcicle and more snow on the way tomorrow.

My snowblower is now in pieces in my basement. At least the engine isn't destroyed, I got the head off last night and freed up the piston. Doesn't look too bad actually. Now the hunt for somebody that has the head gasket...in stock.
