Stupid, aesthetic question here. I have an S2 with a worn front rotor. It doesn't rattle, but the button sockets are worn enough that when holding the brake I can rock the bike fore and aft nearly 1/2". So, it needs a new rotor. I have an S1W with low miles and a perfect Buell rotor on it. I have an EBC front rotor with silver center (both bikes have white wheels). Do I put the EBC on the S2 that I ride every day, and have an obvious "aftermarket" piece out in front? Or do I put the EBC on the S1W and use the S1W brake on the S2, to keep the S2 looking stock? ...you see what sorts of things I have to deal with when it's too crappy out to ride... |

Thanks, Smoke. Not exactly the input I was hoping for though... I like the EBC...I just can't decide if I want to change the look of the S2 in the name of the "better rotor". |

Joe Swap the S1 disc to the S2 and EBC the S1. They are the true hot rods of the group. Joe |

Al does have them, and your dealer should be able to get them thru Custom Chrome or Drag Specialties. Got mine from a co-worker who converted to dual discs though. |
