Supafast I had a HD tech/service writer ask me if I know anyone who wants to buy a race kit for the XB9 it has the ecm module, pipes and can for $500.00 the ECM is better than the standard OEM they sell at Harley. It came off of a Firebolt that was crashed, no harm done to any of the race kit. I told him of your thoughts to me on one of your last posts. K |

Ok.. Robin report.. just in case you're wondering.. Good mobility, Doc says everything seems to be healing up nicely.. and she's now sporting a new Neon Green cast which she says is too tall on her leg and doesn't let her bend at the knee and is too tight (so as to be uncomfortable).. Aside from that, she's doing as well as can be expected for a month into the healing of insertion of titanium go fast parts. Ok, back to my lurking in the shadows.. |

Hey Ramon ,It seem that you have a new job. Congrats! If you stop street riding ,nothing will change .We didn't ride together all season. As for me, the buell is 23 months old and has 30,000 miles . I think I'm going to slow down on my riding . Don't you know of anyone who has the gear for resetting TPS . |

Marlinrider, I'll pass the info on to my brother, thanks! Ramon="Rocket Scientist", hmmm, that one will have to grow on me Twin, I have the VDSTS software, but I'm in PA. Do you have a laptop? I could send you my stuff, but I'd need it back. Ramon might be able to walk you thru it, or I could help you out over the phone. LMK |

Odd but interesting: DCSportbikes.com has the links to the MySpace sites of the four murderers of Washington Redskin's Sean Taylor. http://dcsportbikes.com/forums/p/89942/999985.aspx |

Hey all, While I appreciate my new "Rocket Scientist" moniker, I'm far from living up to it. I'm actually part of the IT security team. While I will have the opportunity to do some hands on work, it looks like most of my time will be spent defining and updating policies. Same company, new division. Sux I don't have the time to check the site from work anymore. Maybe we can do a TPS reset day for the locals. Toona, please email me the TPS instructions. Twintour: I'll split the shipping cost with you, I'd like to do a reset on both bikes. Pete: Wishing the best for Robin. With her new performance parts upgrade she'll be tearing up the track! Races sound good! I had planned on going this Friday, 12/7 and next Saturday, 12/15. I know it is going to be cold, but I think I will still ride the Uly there (lol). I might be late this Friday as I got to wait for the cable guy...they forgot to hook something up last week. See you at the races. |

Twintour, Sweet, I'll take a look at mine and see what there too. I need help figuring out why the front end on the 12 shake on breaking @ 45+mph. The front rotor is within spec (no warpage). Ratbuell, what did you say I should check out again? I may have to have the shop look at it before my warranty expires on this month. |

Ramon ,shake problem on braking is one of two things warped rotor or brake pad buildup on rotor. head shake without braking would be worn wheel bearings or worn steering head bearings . Who dial indicated your rotor to check for warping or damage. |

Ramon, Make that 3 things... ..Bent wheel. It doesn't take much, and the rotor will check out fine. But you say above 45. More likely deposits, as Ray said. A bent wheel will show at any speed above 0. Don't ask. |

Hey guys - anyone know of a good, reputable body shop in the area? I've got to take the boss' truck in to the the driver-side door re-alligned. The last guy i went to on the Hill wanted to replace the door skin, replace the front fender... basically rip me off. all that happened is that the wind took the door and opened it further than the hinges could handle, and now the leading edge of the door rubs on the edge of the front fender. i definitely dont need new sheet metal. Any suggestions? |

1125r #1 is here (Frederick MD). The buyer will probably come pick it up tomorrow (Saturday) mid-day, but if anyone wants to see it in the flesh, I'll be here till 8 tonight. It should be set up by this evening, but its uncrated and in the service area already. Stop in and see me, I'll be happy to show it off! joe |

Ramon, I was having the same problem with my brakes and took it in for repair and nothing was found. They cleaned the rotor but it didn't improve things much. It disappeared the moment I replaced the rotor and the mounting bolt/springs. |

I had the rotor checked out at the shop the last time it was in and they found nothing significant. There's no build up on the rotor, the Lyndalls keep it nice and clean. |

Yea, they checked mine to and found nothing. Like I said, it went away when i replaced the rotor with a new wave rotor AND replaced the mounting hardware. Could it be the mounting hardware has some affect on the rotor's action?I think we all know by now that the repair shops aren't foolproof. |

Eric, do you have the Buell GPS mount and power cord for your Ulysses? I have the Quest 2 system with motorcycle mount from Garmin but want the helmet ear piece and power adapter to plug into the dash. K |

I personally don't have a GPS on my Uly. Do you want me to check and see if we can get specific parts of the kit, so you don't have to purchase a whole kit? |

I had Annapolis print out the instructions to the Buell kit so I have that, just wondered if you had it hooked up so I could take a look at it. I found out in the knowledge vault that I have to have an adapter from 12 volt to 5 so it wouldn't fry my GPS and I got pointed to a hard wire kit with the volt adjuster. K |
