Originally the "Beer Fairy" left beer under my pillow. When asked where the beer came from my reply was "Beer Fairy". The name just stuck. Strangely, the Beer Fairy also has a line on Synovial Brain Pickle. |

Ok, its hard to believe I have been into Buells since 2003 and I haven't made it to a March Badness. Can someone bring me up to speed on the event(s) and location, I think I can guess when it will be going on. |

Slowride - March Badness is scheduled for Friday, March 28th to Sunday, March 30th. It is hosted by Stone Mountain HD/Buell and the 3%er's. The Buell demo truck will be there and demo rides will take place on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. The demo truck and demo rides are at T.W.O. (Two Wheels Only) in Suches GA. There are cabins available in the area and camping at T.W.O. It is quiet an event and you will get a chance to ride, meet and hang out with your fellow BadWeBrs. Once you leave, you'll be planning for MBVI. Until then, you can attend the mid-year fix, Buelltoberfest II. |

Slowride, It's an event sponsored by Stone Mountain H-D & Buell. It's held in Suches GA. The dealership has the Buell Demo Truck, and offers demos of the new Buells. From T.W.O. north on HWY60 to the Fire Station 6 miles away, and back to T.W.O. That's the event. The rest of us have made it an event to remember by showing up to ride and meet people. It's been going on now for five years, and has gotten bigger every year. We started out with the 7 members of the old BRAG group The 3%ers BRAGging Rights Club, and the locals doing demos. Last year there were the 3%ers, and who knows how many Buellers. I counted 80 Buells Saturday night, but since there were so many coming and going there was never a "good" count. Just think of it as a big party. Some use March Badness as a starting point for their riding season. The businesses in the area have started using it as their starting point for their season since the event has gotten so large. So come join us in the party that is MB-V! |

Slowride... March Badness started when Clown at Stone Mountain HD/Buell wanted to put together a Demo event. Instead of doing the same old around town rides common to most demos, it was decided the event should be in the north Georgia twisties where riders could get a better understanding of what these bikes were designed for. If you are not familiar with the roads in this part of the country, they are a corner carvers wet dream. So SMHD/B rented the lodge at Two Wheels Only and invited the original 3%ers up to lead the demo rides. At the time we were just getting our BRAG group started and had not really spent much time together in a social setting. To make a long story short we had an amazing time and did more demo rides than Buell had ever done at an event. The weekend formed the foundation for an amazing group of friends. We were all from different walks of life but were all passionate about riding. Each year since then has been an attempt to make the event better than the last. And we have yet to disappoint. Now we have people who attend from all over the US and even other countries. Although unofficial, it has become the premier Buell gathering. The excitement leading up to and the stories that are told after keep the BadWeB banter steady almost year round! As for schedules and stuff, that is not really what it is all about. Everyone comes and goes as they please and we just ride. When the sun goes down we fill out bellies with good food and spirits and tell lies into the night by the campfire. |

Much thanks to you guys and gals for the information. Like I said, I am looking for a good excuse to start my travel for next year and this sounds like it may be an EXCELLENT one. I have been to Deals Gap and have ridden the MO and AR roads night and day. If the roads down south can compare I am in. Albeit on a Uly, heheh. Being from Texas I have to travel 4-6 hours to get to any roads close to the ones you guys have. |

Count on it! This time I will have a brand new set of rubber front and rear. I have come with slightly used rubber twice and have been sorry for it. I won't make that mistake again. Fat guy + heavy bike + roads paved with razor blades + "spirited riding" = abnormally short tire life. |

Yeah. He and I emailed back and forth. I'm gonna be in Chattanooga on the 18th. He said he'd box up some O'berto and some Slim Jims if he eats all the ditch rat. |
