Just got an 05 xb12R, and it rode like a champ. Put in the Buell race ecm, K&N, then of course the D&D slip on. Had the tps reset, and the Air Fuel Value reset, but I just dynod it....pfffff disapointing...78hp..72trq... it shows to be running real lean, but the Buell ECM is not adjustable..... I know someone out there knows what the deal is... please tell me that it can be enrichened, and/or should I reset the AFV again, (and if it is the case, do you know the driving sequence for the ECM to "learn"?) |

Ok....again..I cannot stress enough to check the throttle cable adjustment..before doing a tps zero or afv reset. Usually the pull open cable is screwed all the way into the housing. if you do a tps zero and the the pull open cable is too tight ..you are lying to the ecm about its zero or closed throttle position. in effect lying to the ecm about how much fuel it needs. |
