i bought a buell roller from matt a while back and he is a stand up guy. i know this is a (puritan) buell website but its supposed to be a open minded website as well. sure, this bike is no longer a buell but he has every right to post to the classifieds and just cause you dont like it doesnt mean you have to trash his build. (actually, you havent been trashed all that bad, ive seen guys with mutants get bashed on here for days!) He is selling a motorcycle and last time i checked, this was a motorcycle enthusiast website. its not what im into but i think matt did a nice job on it. good luck with the sale. |

I respect the bike for what it is, but like Jsun said above...not my thing. Try cycletrader.com, they're searchable by region / price / bike type or style / price. I've had a lot of customers have good luck on there. |

Ok...My 2 cents 2... Yes, Its a kewl build, but I hope it wasnt based from an S2...If so, whats the last 4 digits of the engine vin #....? We can then stroke it offa the S2 owners list......HB |

What Onohog said, if the motor is from a S2 let us know the last four of the VIN so we can cross it off the list. Frank |

Please let that not be an S-2 motor. |

Looking at the pulley cover right behind the cam cover, it appears to be a later motor. X1 converted to carb seems popular, as do the M2s. Maybe the builder will be kind enough to chime in? |

Rat,That pulley cover looks to be one from a sporty....Ive done a very similar cut on one on my s3 and s2..& look were the footpeg and brake & pedal mountd etc....Thus, we cant rule out the fact yet that it isnt an S2 stove in that puppy.. Heres hopin NOTta.....Hb |

not sure what it came out of. I got it with the rolling chassis from texas. SO what are you guys getting at? I don't buy stolen stuff. If is was a stolen motor, It would have been caught when I had the bike inspected earlier this year. So to answer your questions, No the motor isn't stolen. |

I don't think its hideous, I've seen alot more uglier XB/tube mods than this. Good luck with the sale. |

I have on question for all of you that are rippen on my build? Why? Obviously you that are cuttin on it, don't have the vision to do something on your own. Just to let you all know, I'm an ex road racer and I truely love stock buells. They are fun as hell to rip around on. But I'm not looking to end up smashed on the road somewhere like some of you will probably end up. So Please get off my ass about my ride! You guys that are cuttin on it probably own Buell blasts anyway!!!!!!!!! |

Hey dude....I got NO problem with ur bike... all I was getting at was I had hoped the donor Buell wasnt an S2....Some of us around here are very partial to the S2s and hate to see another bite the dust to a chopper build....No one ever said a word about anything being stolen!....Were just tryin to track down all of the 2100+ ,S2 and S2T that still exist....Thats why we asked for the last 4 digits of the Vin #... See S2 owners section of BWB....Good luck with your sale....Maybe try runnin it on Craigs list or Kijiji classifieds....onahog..... |

You'll NEVER sell it on here. They will just keep talkin sh*t and NO ONE will make any offers. Go ebay or Craigslist and let this thread die. It's really lame but EVERY TIME someone builds one of these great looking bikes from one of the ugliest buell models ever made this same crap happens. |

Fullmoon, You have some mad skills to build a bike like that! I have some friends who have built some Buell choppers and can appreciate all the hard work that goes into them. Usually at the "Bike Nights" we go to they will get the most attention of ALL bikes there including other choppers. While not the biggest interest in some people, they are about the most unique customs rolling on the streets. Good luck with your sell and don't let some of these guys bother you. |

Maybe if it was advertised as a custom the response would have been different. I hate to see any Buell disassembled and mutated. |

Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate the compliments. Again I truely lover the stock layout of the Buells and I thought it would be nice to put on in a hard tail frame and stick a fat 240-250 tire under the tail of it. And to be honest with you, when they are stretched out like that they handle nice. This is my second build and the first one I bought a frame from Motorcycle works in Kansas. (www.choppersforever.com) It looks more drag bike style, but it really handles. I was clocked out in sturgis by on of those road side MPH warning sign doing 77 mph through a curve going from sturgis to deadwood before it opens up to four lane. Not bad for an Mutant buell. Also thanks for the input about craigs list and cycle trader I appreciate the info. This is just my hobby not a job, I'd like to do it full time, but as flooded as the motorcycle industry is now, I'd go hungry. |
