Its okay I guess, if thats your thing. Dont like the paint though. Waste of a fine handling bike for sure. |

I just don`t get it. Take a perfectly good motorcycle & destroy its fine handling. And then add insult to injury with a hideous circus paint job. Yep its AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH custom alright. S1Eric |

Looks like a lot of money was spent on that. The irony is strong with this one... the 748/9cc TWIN cylinder engine won't make big power, hence there is no need for the extended swingarm and ridiculous rear tire. Yet the extended swingarm and huge tire totally ruin the amazing handling the bike is known for. |

This is when different for different's sake takes customising too far. Yes it's a Ducati, but it's more like a rolling trophy cabinet with a 'theme' that's just as much out of place on lots of bikes that seem built only for the show circuit. However, I'll upset the apple cart a little here though. If that's a full on Nitrous drag bike with an over the top paint job it's actually a bloody nice looking dragster. I think if it was painted and sponsored up in a more traditional livery we'd all be amazed by the transformation from race bike to drag bike. Question is, is it a drag bike or simply an over the top custom? Drag bike wouldn't surprise me. Rocket |

That type of (rear) tire SCREAMS all show, no go. Also the description says it's a show bike. |

I saw the description regarding 'show bike'. My point was, take away the chrome and paint, put a slick on it and we'd all consider it to be a drag bike rather than a show bike. Like its creator said, there isn't another Ducati Pro Stock anywhere. With that in mind I think the builder reached his objectives. Predominantly in red I would mistake it for a Pro Stocker and not a show bike. Rocket |

If you look it as sculpture - rather than waste of a great handling motorcycle - it has merit. The value of a lot of art is its shock value - and look at how pissed some of you are. |

I thought that's what they made Hondas for... Suzukis.... You know, I gots me a gixxer! Cool looking bike. DIG the paint! LOTS OF TIME had to have gone into it. I would not build or own one but this is a FREE country to do whatever you like to your bike, and that is what he likes... |

If you look it as sculpture - rather than waste of a great handling motorcycle - it has merit. It would also have merit as a great bike in its current form if it were a Pro Stock drag bike. Looking at its current sculpture I'd assume its handling would be great for drag racing too. The value of a lot of art is its shock value - and look at how pissed some of you are. I'm not pissed at the bike at all. I'm pissed that some can't see beyond the paint and shine to recognise the builder achieved his target rather well. He built a pretty nice looking Pro Stocker. The zorsts look ace, and the Nos bottle looks good on top of the tail unit. Shame about the grips and mirrors, and the rest of the shit on it though. Now you've got me pissed, lol. Rocket |

I'm pissed that some can't see beyond the paint and shine to recognise the builder achieved his target rather well. I think his target is what most people are mad at. The problem is, it's NOT A PRO-STOCKER It's like taking a Ferrari, adding airbags, dropping it to the ground and then topping it off with 24" chromies. It may be good for looking at (maybe), but it's 100% form over function. And on a Buell forum, you will get made fun of with form over function. To show that I'm really not as negative as I just sounded, it is an incredible paint job. I would not want it on anything I own, but the quality of the job and the worksmanship appears to be fantastic. Also, I'm very happy to hear he got the bike from a junk yard. That bike is beautiful even if I'm not into the chopper tire and the extended swingarm and slammed look. I can't believe that some of you can't give this guy and the bike credit for what it is even if it's not your cup of tea. Some of the stuck-up people on this site crack me up. |

I like it, even if it's obviously "The Work of The Devil." Wouldn't own it, wouldn't ride it, But it's no worse than 100's of checkbook choppers and demented stunters I've seen. It's all about "the look", stop thinking about your favorite aspect of performance. |

stop thinking about your favorite aspect of performance. But I'm posting my opinion. Why should I stop thinking about my favorite aspects of a motorcycle? EDIT: It's been a long day. I'll stop arguing. (Message edited by Mikef5000 on December 04, 2007) |

Aside from the fact it is a show bike, I can't help but see that as a Pro Stock Ducati 748 the builder really got the look bang on. Again, if it were painted matt black and without the chromosexual junk, no one could deny it's a pretty sharp looking drag bike. Maybe I'm one of the few, but then I never understood why the Monalisa is DaVinci's most celebrated painting. Personally I find it pretty boring. Rocket |
