Being from Newfoundland, does that mean the 160 you mentioned is kph or are you on mph? Hope it's the former. Z |

Crusty, I flew to Ottawa, Ontario, bought it from the HD/Buell Retailer and rode it home in about two days. I have to get the 99 and up seat to make it more comfortable. |

Brad/Dana- The wife tolerates the bikes, would not tolerate a tat. I'm not sure why, but I'm not going to push it. |

John, This Tattoo Biz is something a few of guys got going in 2003 for the 20th. Well... the 25th is creeping on us and those same guys are coming to say and show they were here again. So I'll get time set away for the group to get it done again. |

Got my email today from Buell concerning Homecoming 2008... "Save the date: Buell 25th Anniversary" "Some of the events planned for the Buell 25th Anniversary include music and festivities at Milwaukee's Summerfest grounds, Buell racing at Road America, seminars, factory tours, vintage bike display, demo rides, dealership activities and more. " Looks like it's going to be a fun time! Can't wait to see everyone again... I wonder if Erik is going to play @ bads1's bar again...I missed them on Thursday last year, but stopped on the ride up Friday night for a couple of beers with 1313 and another fella who's screen name I do not know... |

Hey I am going to be attending this year's Homecoming. I looked on the Buell website and the hotel that Buell recommends is 33 minutes/26 miles away from the factory. Isn't most/all of the activities at or around the factory? I'm not sure that I want to stay THAT far away from the factory. Is this my only choice? Any help would be great!! I want to reserve my room now so I don't get stuck without one later. Thanks, Jim Drive: 25.7 mi – about 33 mins 1. Head south on S Moorland Rd toward Carpenter Rd 5.1 mi 12 mins 2. You will want to stay at the host hotel. Tons of Badwebbers will be their. Its at about the halfway point between the factory and the race track. Hopefully they will have some seminars at the hotel instead of the factory. The classroom is small and was PACKED last year. Plus you will get to ride more..... and you don't want to miss the burn outs, wheelies and other "things" that will go on at the host hotel |

>>>Hopefully they will have some seminars at the hotel instead of the factory. All seminars will be at the hotels and all events will commence there. The good news and the bad news is that we outgrew the classroom . . . .

Now Wolf.. My experience at Buell events (the few that I've managed to attend) is that all the persons attending are friendly, quiet and reserved individuals with a love of poetry and the dulcet tones of chamber music.. They (as a general rule) tend to shy away from hyperbole and would never consider actions that may be considered.. "Outside the Norm" for people of fine taste and upbringing. Now then.. if you can't read between the lines.. it goes like this... My experience at Buell events(the few that I've managed to attend) is that all the persons attending are friendly(often gregarious and genuine in their happiness to see others of their ilk), quiet(when observed from distances greater then 300 yards) and reserved(even when reservations are required, we may still just show up anyway) individuals with a love of poetry(of the most free form kind with regard to motorcycles and the riding thereof) and the dulcet tones of(exhaust expansion) chamber(s)(of the V-Twin variety) music.. They (as a general rule) tend to shy away from hyperbole(except when expressing themselves or relating tales of adventure, both two wheeled and other) and would never consider actions that may be considered.. "Outside the Norm"(re-configuration of your definition of 'norm' is required) for people of fine taste(they all love Buells) and upbringing(They have all survived this long and lived to tell the tale and that's just fine with them). Phew.. NUFF SAID.. |
