I saw it up on Buell.com. I am thinking pretty seriously about taking the trip up there, though it would MAJORLY push my riding abilities. As it is the most I've ridden in a day was about 150 miles or so. I also rarely get on the interstates. Still it gives me quite a few months to put some more miles under my belt. I think I'm going to reserve a room. Sounds like an awesome time. Anyone else reserved one yet? And yes, I know this a pretty general topic, but I'm curious as to what my Old School brethren are up to. |

If you're coming from S VA, head thru MD. I'm planning on riding my S2 out for the event, I live about 45 minutes north of DC. Might even be able to talk my wife into driving our truck out as a 'chase' vehicle ;) I'm going to try and get some folks together when the event gets closer... |

Been a Buell rider for 4 years now - This will be the first homecoming that I'll make it to. Is there any camping? Or is it all hotels... |

JC- I'm sure that there are many members who'd be willing to meet and ride along with you. BluzM2 and I made arrangements to meet and ride out to Colorado for an ATC ride several years ago. We've been Buelling together a lot since then even though we're 200+ miles from each other. I've been to three Homecomings and each one has been better than the previous (well maybe not better than the Unofficial). |

Onahog, I don't know. The other thing is that I'm not going to be able to be there before Friday, so I'm wondering if a Friday afternoon arrival + Saturday + a Sunday morning departure will be worth the trip... |

This past Homecoming, had some guys ride straight thru from New York, got there Thu. night. I think that they took off for home on Sat. I'm sure that they had a good time and felt it was worthwhile. Even a couple of days the trip is worthwhile. |

If you're coming from S VA, head thru MD. I'm planning on riding my S2 out for the event, I live about 45 minutes north of DC. Actually I'm in Northern Va, about 45 min south of Frederick HD... I love to meet up with other badwebbers, but I have to say, I think I'm probably pretty damn slow (don't ride with any other people) and wouldn't want to hold other folks up. I am thinking my wife and kid are going to come up in the "support" car. Also, not sure I'm too keen on riding on 70 thru PA with all those trucks and jersey walls! I checked out the google directions, looks like I could do a non-highway route thru WVA. Well, guess I better start putting in some longer rides... |

Not_purple, What day are you heading up? I live in South Bend, IN and you're welcome to stop by here and ride up with us! That goes for anyone riding up! If you're on the East Coast, need tools anytime before July 1, LOOK ME UP, I'm in the RAN. Also, I am going to be heading up along with a buddy from here on the 1st most likely, So anyone going to be passing through South Bend, IN/Chicago area on the 1st, should all meet up and ride up in a pack...Just a thought... |
