Do any of you remember someone putting a Ducati rear brake caliper on an XB? Thanks, Keith |

I was thinking it was the person who moved the caliper directly onto the rear swing arm. I believe they used a Ducati caliper. |

RJ - Do you know how to get in touch with this person? Jeremy - You and I are thinking about the same person. Keith |

Tq_freak wasn't the initial "poster", but he has performed the install on his XB. He used a dual piston Duc caliper, but I can't remember off of which model. |

I think it was a guy from Sweden or the Netherlands. Who wears the wooden shoes? |

Ducati use a Brembo caliper, and we have kits available to fit the same 2 piston caliper to the XB that is hidden behind the swingarm.
Alternatively we also have a 4 piston rear caliper for the XB models

Alternatively we also have a 4 piston rear caliper for the XB models That looks scary! Not the set up, but having a four piston brake, sounds like over kill to me. I guess if someone wanted to be able to lock up the rear easily, that would be the way to go. I really like the other set up. I've been wanting that for some time. |

Yep I got that set up, not Trojans but A home made version. I will post some more pics when I get home from work. Real easy set up and it has a CR&P load of braking force, really makes the rear of the bike squat and suck down nicely. You can stop the bike quickly with the rear brake only. |

The 1125 hides the rear caliper behind the swingarm like that, except, of course, it's reversed. |

YUP, any maroon can lock a rear, and pay for said parts. Takes a RIDER to modulate the stock setup to stop properly RIDE BETTER!! PERIOD!! |

I didn't do it for more brake, I did it because It hides the caliper and really cleans up the rear wheel. I forgot to post the pics I had last night. I'll wright a note on my trusty "palm" pilot and get them up here tonight. |

Most customers that buy the 4 piston rear brake do so because they carry a passenger and luggage, and find that it helps when the bike is fully loaded. I always say that too much brakes is preferable to not enough |

I have one of those setups that I bought from a fellow BadWebber. I believe that I made a drawing of it somewhere, just don't remember where I put it. It is on my list of winter mods to add. The only thing that sucks is I ride all winter long and don't put my bike away. (Message edited by damnut on December 04, 2007) |

Hello, I heard you all calling and came running out of my windmill and guess what? My wooden shoe broke and I fell with my nose in the dyke. |
