Can anyone tell me how to drain the gas out of my XB12X. |

Just the tank or the fuel system or why do you need to? Please expand the question. |

Just the tank I sold this bike and having it delivered to NY. The delivery service will not transport it with fuel in it. |

I was going to say to take a clear hose, wiggle it down the tank opening and the left side of the frame/tank preferably with the bike on the side stand, and siphon out the gas, but there is a drain plug on the bottom of the fuel pump on the left side bottom of the frame. This should be much easier. The drain plug is centered between the two lower fuel pump mounting bolts. Remove the plug and drain the fuel. After doing this, put the drain plug back in, torque 84 - 108 in-lbs, and try to start the engine, cranking for at least 3 seconds. This will purge the fuel line. |
