Anybody here rode the pig trail south of Eureka springs, Arkansas? a friend just came back from arkansas and all i hear is pig trail blah, blah. It is about 4 hrs from where i am at. Is it worth the trip? |

It is a nice ride but carries a lot of traffic on weekends. There are a lot of back roads that are better with little traffic. It is probably kind of like the Dragon, carries a lot of hype (not that we have anything like them in Iowa). We stayed at the Edleweiss in Eureka Springs a couple of times and did day rides out of there. The owner is a biker and gave us maps of good roads. One day Cochise came out and took us on his favorite rides. |

In a word... YES NW Arkansas is one of the last known secrets in the motorcycling world. Roads are rarely busy and the asphalt surfaces are very smooth and well maintained. Arkansas DOT deserves an award. These roads are sweet! Enjoy! |

Actually, if you want MUCH better road and less traffic, try Hwy 123 East of Hwy 7. The curves below occur over less than 100 yards! Keith
