I got a ( The ? ) call this AM from the Dealer in Pensacola. HDnet says that the bike shipped yesterday and has a VIN and some other info. When it will arrive, I don't know, but it sounds like the green light has been given for shipment. Anyone with more info ?? Has the wait come to an end ????? Anonymous, can you either confirm or deny shipment has begun ? |

Just called the dealership, waiting for a return call. My fingers are crossed, I called yesterday and was told the first ship dates were the 25th and 27th, so I figured it was another HDNet SNAFU. Hopefully it's good, the 25th was my birthday. Z |

I would think they'd be more excited than we are about shipping. They should take pictures of the trucks loading and leaving E. Troy. Please let this be a Milestone, not a false alarm. Z |

From another thread, (From Anon.) You're not dreaming. Two truck loads of 1125Rs have left East Troy, and more will be following routinely. |

Thanks for breaking the news Cap'n. Ya think one truck went west and one went east? Dave - hopefully, mine's on the same truck, whoever WAS #1 at Sun backed out, so the first one's mine. Already have the optional equipment, just waiting delivery so I can unwrap my birthday present to myself from the elves. Hope the trucks don't have any troubles with the blizzard/icestorm heading east right now. Z |

I would like to thank Captain Nemo for his generous offer to make his bike available for test rides in Pensacola. With any kind of luck, they will have his 600 mile service done in time for him to take delivery... Jack |

I hope a Badwebber gets the first delivery, but in any case I am dying to hear from the first Badwebber that does get one. I'm betting I don't get mine unti spring at the pace that seems to be happening, but I can live with that as long as I can ride vicariously with one of you guys! Magazine tests are good, but they don't give the real feel of ownership. Come on first owner post! |
