Hey there. Will a 2000 M2 2.5 in. outlet header fit on a 97 M2 with the 2 in. outlet header? Any thing will be appreciated. Thanks.

I think the answer is no, if I'm wrong somebody please correct me. I believe the 97 has the header outside the the frame and 2000 has the header behind the frame. You will want a 98 S1W header.

No it will not.
Joe is correct. You can go the other way with an old header on a new tuber but not the other way.
The frame rail was a bit lower on the old tubers. The new style header won't clear the frame.
