I believe the 97 has the header outside the the frame and 2000 has the header behind the frame. You will want a 98 S1W header. Joe   Bluzm2 Posted on Friday, November 30, 2007 - 10:24 am:        No it will not. Joe is correct. You can go the other way with an old header on a new tuber but not the other way. The frame rail was a bit lower on the old tubers. The new style header won't clear the frame.
