Well Saturday is going to be the day of checking ring end gap(adj). Then doing some mock up assemblies of wrist pin/piston/cylinder.And perhaps some initial piston to head clearance checks. Now it begins. |

More waiting for parts....It seems i do not have the locating dowels for the head to the cylinder. Was a good morning though, ring end gap checks ok,and the cylinders, pistons assemble easily enough. Thanks to Scooter for that excellent ring compressor..parts due Wed. |

Nope...not today...taking Audra out to Boston for the day. I won't be at the farm next weekend either - my sister is getting married but I will be thee Dec 8/9, and 15/16. Greg - it's on Highland Ave. Take the exit off 24 for 77/177 and take a left - get to the fire station (at the light) and take a left, it's 1/2 mile up on the left. You park in a grassy area up a small hill and you can't miss all the x-mass trees right in front of you - walk up and take a right to get to the barn (just follow the rock wall), I'm either working on a tree there or driving around the farm somewhere lugging another tree. |

Scott_in_nh - I'd love to make it to that but unfortunately my family has me clamped onto a chain saw every weekend until x-mass (my sisters wedding aside). Hope everybody has a good time there...and don't freeze! Those coming to the farm...it's open 10-4 on Sat and Sun...I will not be there this weekend (sisters wedding) but will be there 12/8, 12/9, 12/15, 12/16. Not sure about the 22nd or 23rd yet. |

I HAVE MY MICRON! FINALLY!! It's kinda loud, so I guess I'll be riding at the back of the pack now, huh? And it's it's running pretty crappy on the stock map so I see a visit to Painkiller's in my future. No big deal. I can wait. Roads are too crummy to really get on it these days, anyways. |

email sent supposedly, it shipped yesterday, i'll see if they actually have a pro# for the shipment then i'll believe it! i'll post as soon as i find out. scott, hehe, you'll find that's true, sometimes you'll have to take up the rear cause of the noise, after hh3 i decided to baffle mine, nice exhaust though, we installed one here on an xbr and it sounded awesome! |

Congrats Scotty - how long was that waite? Did you put the new ECM in too? And as for the back of the pack...that depends on how loud it is vs everyone elses...I'm planning a trip to Painkiller's as well for an exhaust upgrade...as soon as Eric is done fiddling around with his Drummer...how's that coming Eric? |

Waited two and a half months, cancelled my order with exotic-sportbike.com, then ordered from rideon.com and got it in under a week. But I still received the one from exotic because they suck, so I actually have 2 Microns right now: one on the bike and one in the garage, at least until UPS comes to take it away and shove it up exotic's a$$. That wasn't an ECM, JP... just the key, and I returned it. Painkiller's got a lead on software that doesn't need the key and does more than Direct Link, so I can get my money back on the key. He's just got to get schooled on the new software package, but it's looking like the Uly is going to be his gerbil. |

doh, i have yet to dyno (and to think precision was giving free dyno's every sat. all summer), i don't think the pipe added a ton of hp but i think it helped out a bit on the top end. the butt dyno figures lucretia at about 90bhp. i will dyno it in the spring before and after xb heads installed! |

Welcome to the club Greg...of only having 1 motorcycle! Sucks huh? Projects...and just plain old bad weather...I think the bike is finding it's winter home in the basement next week. I wanted to get out for one more ride but weather and family obligations are just getting in the way, not to mention the migraines of late...5 days running on this one and I'm looking for a gun every couple of hours to try to get a permanent fix on the high pressure situation. |

Ok, unless someone chimes in about what day works for them I say we have the Buell Family Day on the USS Constitution on Saturday December 8th. We are still open to time and place to meet and suggestions for an affordable family restaurant for those that want to get a meal together. Let's have a head count too. There will be 3 of us! |

The 8th sounds cool.I'm telling you,the Hilltop Steakhouse on rt.1 in Saugus just to the north of,and between the Constitution and rt.95 is 'DA BOMB! And certainly family friendly. If i'm out that way, that's definately where we'll eat. LET'S DO IT!! |

The 8th sounds good. I'll be waiting for you all at the little booth before the security shack (big metal shed with gaurds and metal detectors, for the "general public", you guys are VIP's so you are exempt. I'll meet you by the sailor standing watch in the little shack and just so you know. Parking for anyone in the yard is not alowd unless you are DOD or National Park Service, but there is parking on the street outside the yard and there is a garage on Constitution Rd. Let me know the time and I'll see you all there (fyi, evening colors goes down at around 410 pm and we do fire one of our guns, I can get you front row seats for that if ya want). |

I sent you a pm Jack, but in case you didn't get it - we were wondering how long we should plan for the tour? We want to finish it off with a bang at 410 and then go to an early supper. If we met there at 2:30 and started the tour at 3, would that be too little, too much or just the right amount of time? |

inquiring minds want to know because right now,we don't know Jack Lol....We are anxiously looking forward to the tour.Later in the day sounds cool.So does a cowboy steak/fillet/or one of the fine Hilltop burgers. |
