Took advantage of the sunny day and headed out eastward along some of my favorite backroads. It was later in the day than I usually do this ride, so there was unfortunately more (slow) car traffic on these roads than usual. Still, I was able to carve some nice corners up along the harbor and my favorite stretch of road along the Nissequogue River. I stopped in Port Jefferson to get a hot chocolate at Starbucks (HATE their coffee, love their hot chocolate) when I heard someone call my name. It was Lonexb who recognized my bike from right here on Bad Web. Nice to meet another Bad Webber! We chatted for a bit before I headed back south and west for home. Hope everyone else was able to enjoy the day! | ||

Man, it's been awhile since I last saw him. He was down during Bike week in Fl. about 2 years ago. Good guy. Wonder if he will find himself over here in CO someday. | ||

Had a pretty good four day weekend myself. Got to ride every day, a rare treat for me. Even thought about taking the Port Jeff ferry then off to Montauk. Don't know why I didnt. Should have. Glad to hear you had a good day. | ||
