Fellow BadWebers, figured I would try here before I order from a dealership. I am rebuilding a 98 S1W that has been abused and need a couple of parts: Brake Lever part number 45190-96y Clutch lever 45187-96y Throttle cable 56429-96y Idle cable 56430-96y Clutch cable 38656-96y Tail lamp bracket 68106-96y All turn signals 68751-96y and 68753-96y Rear fender like the M2 fender not S1W. I will probably need brake pads and wheel bearings as well. I would also like to find a pearl white gas tank and tail section that is in great shape. I have the old ones an I am in the process of trying to find someone that can paint them. If anyone has these parts laying around email me at f_skinner@yahoo.com and let me know your price. Thanks |

That's me - it's a twintail set, tailpiece, seat, and light bracket. Brand new in the factory box...but I think Frank's looking for a solo. |

FiremanJ...Are you looking for the exhaust mount that has 2 bolts to the crankcase and the bushing at the lower for the header? I have 2 or 3 of the first design ones . Hankb... |

Thanks to the folks here on the BadWeb the only thing I still need is the hugger rear fender and a heat shield for the headers. Seems like I had a M2 rear fender on my old 97 S1. All I see on other sites is the carbon fiber ones. I am almost sure the M2 fender was not carbon fiber. These must be getting hard to find. Bart, I am going to order new cables. Figured I should use new ones but thanks anyway. Rat, shoot me an email when you know the total for shipping. Thanks, Frank |

Frank - I don't remember if my M2 fender was CF or fiberglass. It was black...but if you look closely at your S2, so is that, and it's CF underneath. All S1s came from the factory with a CF rear fender that also held the license plate. An odd design. Buell accessories offered the no-plate hugger (in CF) for folks (like me) who thought it looked too heavy with the plate down there. Folks also figured out that any steel swingarm hugger would work, so you see some with S2 fenders; some with M2 fenders. |

Thanks Rat, I still have that funky rear fender from my S1. I actually kept it on there for about 9 years LOL... Sometimes I liked it and most of the time I did not. I finally got the M2 fender. Thanks for the info and I see a couple of CF fenders on ebay that I might try to get. BTW the new S2 windshield looks great. Frank |

Frank... I have a new white S1W tail section. But I'd only concider selling if I can afford Rat's twin tail. I sent him a PM on the price of his parts. |

I didn't know the S1 had that mount welded on, tho I guess it makes sense. Aaron recommended using an exhaust clamp on other models (S2) to achieve the same effect. #26 is what I have. |
