I asked this question in another forum, and I still cant find to much info about it. What Im asking is... I was looking at the Rizoma bars and adapters, and I was unsure if i needed the standard or coical bar. In Rizomas catalog the AZ600B handlebar clamp fits the XB12S (what I have) so does that mean I cannot get the regular 22mm handlebar, and that I have to go with the 22mm-28mm conical bar? |

Yeah, I have that clamp with the Carmicheal* bars. It is the fatter bar at the clamp, but regular 7/8" at the ends. That make sense? |

The Rizoma AZ600B handlebar clamp ONLY fits oversize bars (28.5 or 29mm diameter) such as Fat Bars or Rizoma's own Conus handlebars. These bars are tapered so that the stock controls still fit but are bigger diameter in the centre for less flex and vibration and for more strength. |

Thanks for the info, but maybe I didn't ask the correct question. AZ600B clamp will fit all Buell's, and to use that clamp you must use the fatter Rizoma bars (they call it conical i think) Will the other clamp that Rizoma offers fit on a buell and work with the skinnier bars? It appears to me that the AZ600B clamp raises the bars in the air some compared to the standard one, thats what Im worried about. |

Will the other clamp that Rizoma offers fit on a buell and work with the skinnier bars? Rizoma only offer one clamp that will fit the Buell models, and that is the AZ600B. The other clamps that they offer will not fit the stock triple trees I'm afraid, and are dsigned for bikes with removeable single bolt bar risers such as the Speed Triple. All their clamps are also designed for the 29mm bars and not 22mm stock size. The AZ600B does raise the clamps very slightly (around 1") , but this is offset by the fact that the MA005 Conus bars are 2" lower than stock, so you end up with a slightly lower and sportier riding position. |

Thanks Trojan thats what I was looking for. Any reason you sold your bars to Ferris? Is the sportier position harder on the back? |
