Does anyone live by Destin, Florida with a special ops muffler? I want to hear it before purchasing one. Thanks Steve |

Sparrowman- we could always meet half way! I'm in Enterprise, near Fort Rucker/Dothan. Just let me know, maybe we can work something out. |

Sparrow and Tq, JUST GET IT! You won't be disappointed. I pulled my Race Can for the Special Ops and haven't looked back since. I'm running a "9" can on my "12" because I have a race ECM. Odie makes a can that uses the valve if you still are running the stock ECM. |

I agree with Toona. JUST GET IT. I heard Toona's pipe in September and I am sold. I will be getting one as soon as I move down to North Carolina in March. |

I've heard them. They sound good. Louder, but not obnoxiously so. The tone is good too, not blatty like some cans are. This is one purchase you can move on unheard, in my opinion. |

Does Al lighten sell a flash for the ecm that remaps the FI but also incorporates the valve, essentially leaving it functional, for a Spec ops XB-12? |

Joee- yes, AL sells the remap. I helped him develop it by doing the actual road testing. I'm very pleased with the remap. Bike has never ran better , smoother, or stronger. Give Al a call, he'll hook you up. |

Sath, I am moving to Goldsboro. I'll be stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB. I should be there around 10 March. |

I will be getting one as soon as I move down to North Carolina in March. I am moving to Goldsboro. You are in luck! Shelton's HD/Buell has a great Buell Service Writer (Lee) and Buell Tech (Bud). Check out Carolina Corner Carvers when you get a chance. We'll schedule a ride out of Goldsboro once you get settled! |

Odie thanks for the hookup, just wondering but it is my understanding that the exhaust shootout used a remapped FI but left the valve out/nonoperational? BTW not a bad pipe from a hawk driver. If you ain't CAV... |

Joee- I just looked at your profile. I didn't realize you were here in E'Prise with me!? Yes, the test was done with a basically remapped ECM but just to get the dyno numbers. It wasn't fine tuned by any means for actual worry-free road riding day to day. I did the actual road testing and number gathering last year for Al. I'm very happy with the remap. Call me sometime and you can check it out. (334)447-7051. I got yer CAV right here......... |
