A couple of weeks ago the 'Trans Siberian Orchestra' was in Knoxville Tn. They do mostly classic Christmas music with a phenomenal guitar rock and electric drums matched with a string orchestra playing to an awesome light show with great vocals. Big show, very big, very powerful! Once you've heard them you tend to loose that "I'm so sick of same old Christmas music that I hear year after year" feeling. It was the best rock concert/stage show/light show we have seen, and we have been to a few! They are doing a winter tour, just google Trans Siberian Orchestra. They have a web site with some great sample music videos. When it comes up turn on the sound after the commercial and there are four songs on there. Oh, their music is best played very loud! |

No, and nobody in recent times has inspired me to want to. But this year I really got into Orson, and they are a pretty sensational outfit. So they are the band I am really wanting to see when they tour here next year. Rocket |

Terri and I saw TSO a couple of weeks ago in Worcester, MA. They are an incredible band with a fantastic show. This is the third year we've seen them, and each time, the show gets better. Definitely worth seeing! |

Anybody been to a good rock concert lately? Last "rock"(?) concert I went to was Neil Diamond "Coming to America" tour @ the Forum(L.A.) 1982. I stopped going when it became impossible to get good seats without involving scalpers...Err "ticket services." This band TSO sounds pretty good, and as luck would have it, they've already been to L.A. this year... I'll pickup the latest CD to add along side of my Manheim Steam Roller. |

I saw the Australian Pink Floyd show about a month ago. If you have never considered seeing them your'e missing out. The sound, lighting and lasers were amazing just like the real thing. They played "Dark Side of The Moon" in it's entirety had a short intermission came back on and played all the other top Pink Floyd songs. The show was great. In all they played 2 1/2 hours. Just saw Rush for the first time in Sept. GREAT SHOW!! If you ever get a chance to see Kid Rock you should check him out. He played the 100th and was by far the best at that concert. He just put on a good show, played a lot of different stuff. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. ELTON JOHN STILL SUCKS!! |

Just saw Rush for the first time in Sept. Rush kicks ass on stage. Easily the best value for my concert dollar. Haven't seen them in a few years, regretfully. They deliver the best live product this side of Black Sabbath, IMHO. |

Dropkick Murphys and Street Dogs, great bunch of dudes to hang out with, and they put on a great show! The worse Dave Matthews. Got dragged into that at college, got surrounded by pot heads. No energy, the crowd never moved, sound tech must have been taking a nap. |

My buddy and I went to see Rage Against The Machine on 8/24/07 at Alpine Valley just outside of East Troy, WI. We toured the Buell plant, then went to the concert. The concert was one of the coolest things to ever witness. They ROCKED and I hope they continue to tour and hopefully release another album. Did I mention that it got a little muddy?

Saw Buddy Guy headline the Portland Blues Festival two years ago. Amazing performance. He stunned about 10,000 people utterly speechless with, "Wish It Would Rain" and then made us scream our heads off in in applause. He has a pretty big reputation, but he really is all that. |

Bummer about Dubrow. Quiet Riot was a cool band for it's day. Jammed to it when I was overseas. Miami guys played in it, and I was proud they made it. RIP. |

I'm going to go check out Angel's and Airwaves in Feb. The group sounds pretty good. They are Buell enthusiasts to boot. |

Neil Young, Chrome Dreams at Northrop Auditorium, Minneapolis a few weeks ago. Very small venue and a great show. hour + of acoustic and 1.30 of his rock!!! Ended it with Cinnamon Girl. Always wanted to hear that live! The show was definitely better than the CD of the same name. |

Back Back we go..... to 1984, Legend Valley just east of Columbus Ohio.. Scorpions Quiet Riot Fastway Kickaxe I don't know that I would call it a great show, but it sure is a good memory... 4 good friends packed into a Plymouth Colt lots of beer in milk jugs 5 lbs of ginger snaps and 2 fingers... It was a good time and I laugh ever time I think about it. Its a bummer about Dubrow |
