Here is the deal. I am looking for a firebolt seat that is more comfortable than the oem seat, I would like something that is meant for long rides for that matter just unconventional rides like half way across the US type thing. Got one or know of someone wanting to sell one let me know. Clams |

you mean like this? comfort!
5/16" padding, enough for anybody! (and genuine kidskin!)

Clay, i'm looking to get rid of my custom firebolt seat. (like the one from buell.com) it came with the bike, but i prefer the stocker. it's not the corbin, but pretty comfy for the highways, with an extra inch of padding. good condition. lemme know matt |

hey, can't you tell i ain't fussy??? it's a stock seat pan with an .062 aluminum kicker bent about 70 degrees and screwed on the back. 5/16 closed cell urethane from mscdirect.com, forget the durometer rating, but it is more comfortable than it looks. kidskin was on sale at Tandy Leather for $20. dunked it in a bucket of water, stretched it over and let dry a day before gluing and stapling it. tried the deluxe or comfort or whatever they call that pegasus logo one and didn't like it at all, too high in the front and middle. stock's a little better but still rubbed me in the wrong places. was planning on more foam but after trying it with no pad, decided it didn't need anymore. kicks a little hard on the big bumps but you always see those coming..... |
