what i am wondering, is what the plan is if this thing ever needs to be freshened up, since it was stated that there would only be one size of piston offered and the cylinders are not supposed to be able to honed out. am i expected to have to just buy new pistons AND cylinders to go .10 over or something minor like that. |

Electroplate cylinder bores I'd assume. The SCEM on my 1998 GSXR750 went 55,000km with less than a thou of measurable wear between 2 ring jobs. Similar stuff on my Husly 2 Stroke is approaching 6 rebuilds with 1 piston replacement and only rings. It is TUFF stuff. |

That's all, just replace pistons and rings. No oversize. And, it'll take a long time to get to where you need 'em. |

thanks, i knew it should take a long time, but it just had me thinking when i was looking through the parts manual earlier. |
