So I put the Scorpion Syncs on this morning and they ride great! I wish I had them installed when I bought the bike. Total improvement in every aspect of handling. It doesn't stand up and I don't have to put all my weight on the inside bar to keep it leaning over. It totally changed the handling of the bike. I already have the chicken strips worn down past where the 208s were in just one easy ride. I hope they leave totally on this set of tires. I now totally understand why Buell put the Pirellis on standard last year. They are just better! |

Syncs came stock on my 06 City X . Best tire I ever had on any bike. I wouldn't think twice about replacing them with an other set when the time comes. |

I liked the Syncs, but I feel there there are better tires out there. Not sure the cost of the syncs, but I am a big fan of the Metzler M3. |

How many miles do you get out of the rear of an M3 Fresno? |

Yes Fresno I'm curious also. Putting M3's on front and back after Christmas, compliments of the wife. Also, where's you get 'em? Everywhere I've checked they're about $300 which is about average I guess. Just looking for that good deal. |

trading out the scorps to go to the Mt-60s for a more aggressive dirt riding performance, the scorps are a nice all around tire for many miles though. way better for day to day duty than the diablos |

Fresno, what qualities do you like better about the M3? I hear good things about the Metz tires on Buells. I am anxious to see how many miles I get out of the Syncs. |

I feel like a little kid on this thread, me too, me too. But again I'd like to hear someone's pro's and con's list. I hate getting something sight unseen and not getting any input. Actually I have physically handled a rear M3 at Bristol during the drag races. I was sold on them even before I talked to the guy at the booth. The treads are twice as deep as the Dunlops I currently run and from what I hear the Dunlops are pretty much the bottom of the barrel but I'm an OE kind of guy. Brand new it looks like they're going to be in the neighborhood of $300 shipped. Everyone has their own gimics, free shipping, no payments or 90 days or so much off. Anywho, I've rambled enough, anyone actually running the Metzlers that can give us a historical account of how they'll perform? Thanks |

I've got the M3's on both my Buell's, third set on the firebolt, first set on the s3. Great traction in any weather, very neutral handling (no standing up in corners when braking), and good mileage compared to Dunlops or the M1's, about 4500 miles on firebolt, but their ready again and I don't baby them.
