Can anyone tell me if you put a set of Lightning bars on it, will you still be able to get into the "Rider's Bubble" created by the windscreen? My thought is those bars might sit you too upright and your helmet would catch some wind...... I'm trying to hold off and wait for a "T" or an "ST" version, but also tossing around the idea of modifying one. The Firebolt bars are just too uncomfortable on long trips for me. |

I don't think they would work to well, if at all due to clearance. I also think you would not be able to take advantage of the air bubble with them. |

cat... those were my initial thoughts as well. I'm hoping someone else has thought of doing the same thing, or has a solution. The bars are the main reason why I don't have a deposit on one right now... |

I'm sure Al at American sport bike will have taller bars and shields soon. Brian |

Bar risers are my highest priority R&D project when my 1125R gets here in a few weeks. Al |

Al.... good to know! I'll wait till someone else puts them on and gives a report on them (as I'm sure someone will!) I still have a feeling that Buell will be coming out with a Sport Touring or an "S" version in the near future though........ |
