i know it sound crazy but i'm looking
for a stock seat for a 98 white lighting
or what ever will fit one. will need body work as well but i really need the seat pan.
i'm in seattle,if you will ship i will pay.

I can take pics, but if you want a twintail I have a NIB (yes...actually NEW) ice white pearl twintail set for White Lightning - body, taillight brackets, and seat. LMK if you'd like to see pics.

Actually..I'd like to see pics of that. Swapping from the single to the twin tail is rather simple? The single is no 2 up bike and sometimes the ole lady wants to go for a ride.

Swapping tails is very easy, IIRC all you do is loosen the 1/2" tank holddown bolt so you can lift the rear of the tank off the tail section, remove the screw that holds the seat down, remove the 2 screws that hold the taillight assembly on and the bodywork is free. My wife doesn't ride on a Buell with me, that's why I keep my old FLHP (she's seen me ride the Buells and wants no part of it, LOL).

I'll see if I can dig it out of the back of the garage today (it's still in the factory box) before work. If I can't get it out before work I'll definitely get pics this evening when I get home. I have to get a truck running before work tho, so that's gonna bind my time.

Just to clarify - my pic above is a twintail set. Above the tail in the pic is the seat (in the plastic bag) and below in the left corner is the taillight / turn signal bracket (with my old red lens zip-tied to it). Just don't want any confusion if someone is looking for a solo set... : )
