How much Blake looks like Dr. Phil......   I was going through some of my photos from the Buell event in Dallas, TX a couple of years ago and came across Dr. Phil, uh I mean Blake. Hey buddy, you're welcome to my pic archive from that event if you want them. I believe Erik, Daves, Henry D., the CEO of Buell and the elves were there as well. I have pics of all of them. The first year or so of badweb was a real struggle and one of the deficiencies noted was that few people were able to join Blake at his wavelength. The problem was compounded by the fact that when there were less than 25 of us here, well . . no one listened to a hick from Kilgore, TX. Add to that the fact the Blake lacked the chiseled male model looks that folks like Henrik and I brought to the equation. So rather than plow the first sponsorship dollars back into the board the decision was made to stick with the goofy green color and divert all resources to surgically altering and improving Blake. We saw many benefits, some immediate and some long term. First of all . . like many of us Blake married not only far above his intellectual level but a much better looking gal. Our efforts would ameliorate that problem plus, as badweb became a worldwide phenomenon folks in Dubai, Dublin and Cape Town would not gather round computer screens in smoky cafes playing "hey look at the funny American". Well, we did it. We had Blake made smarter. . lots smarter. Like every well intentioned program, we didn't exactly put every arrow we fired in the bulls-eye . . . as you can see from that photo, I think we got taken and did not get our money's worth for what we paid to have Blake made more "Henrik-like" in appearance. . . but, what the heck . . so we wasted $7.00. . . in the long run the wisdom seems to be paying off. We're considering raising funds to have him made more worldly and "politically correct" but at this point we are $4,435,987 short of the amount required to just have him adjusted to "politically open minded"..... The fun part was that the firm we contracted with tossed in gratis one of their new "make your board administrator like Chatty Kathy" features . . . and we had Blake subliminally programmed to respond to the words "contact patch" with a rapid fire non-stop progression of highly technical garble whenever his cyber-string was pulled. . . after seeing his response the firm subsequently discontinued this feature. It's just too dangerous . . they've moved on to painting Chinese toys. No one ever said badweb would be easy . . . | ||

Your lead paint has been changing the way I think(damn BadWeb). It seems to be blending well with the thinner fumes I accidentally ingest as a long time body shop owner and painter. These, occasional weekend trips with mountain spring water, and not so early onset old-himers......what? I was.....crap. Sorry, what was the question?  | ||
