Thinking about a set of 1" bar risers for the 04 XB12S. American Sport Bike has a good looking set http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16107.html Anybody tried them? Cable/wiring changes needed? |

Just bolt 'em up. I didn't have to do anything cable-wise. And a fringe benefit is the clutch cable no longer blocks my view of the clock. |

Not only do they raise the bars but enable you to position them at a more forward cant. I have them and find my bike much more comfortable to ride. |

Thanks Mike. I really do like them. Did you notice my low tech mod? John--No mods. They screwed right into the stock mounts. I did make one accidental mod. I accidentally leaned into the mirror stalk and snapped it right off. I found that a lag bolt with the head sawed off makes a pretty good replacement. |
