click here I was about to order my ticket, but it appears that it is a download - a bar-coded e-ticket. Unfortunately my printer is out of black ink... D'OH!!! 1313 |

I'm in. Anybody up for making it a Saturday trip? I'd rather not add the cost of a hotel room for the night if we can avoid it. Could follow the same plan as last time; leave Raleigh area early AM, hang out at the show until we get tired of looking at motorcycles, then get a bite to eat and head back. What say you? |

Spike - that's Carlos' plan as well. He'll be taking the van or Suburban. |

So we have two volunteer drivers, one from the Raleigh area and one from the Eastern NC area. Do we have any volunteer carpoolers? |

Do we have any volunteer carpoolers? Somebody - PICK ME, PICK ME!!! I always HATED being picked last for anything back in my school days. At some point, it might be nice spending a weekend in DC, but this ain't the time for me... 1313 |

1313 of course. I was out riding Saturday and came across a 1313 sign on I-95. It's just north of US-264 and I-95 interchange. I believe it must be NC-1313. The road goes over the freeway so the little green sign before the bridge says 1313. Remind me about it when we go to the IMS show. It's on the way. |

Dropping in from North of the border I'm thinking about making the IMS show this January, making a weekend out of it and I am wondering if the DC light rail system drops off at the show sight and has there been problems getting reservations around Springfield for that weekend. Also would like to meet some fellow BadWeBBers Mike |

That is what we do Mike. We caravan to the Franconia/Springfield Station. From there you can ride the Metro right to the Convention Center. You do have to change lines I think once, but its not bad. I think it was less than $5 round trip. As we get closer to the date we will start making plans. We can talk about meeting up. I know I will be taking our Suburban, but it is filling up fast. |

Carlos I'll be driving up it's a bit out of the way to have someone detour 100miles off of 95/295n to pick up and additional passenger. but I would like to meet up maybe find a room in the same hotel or something close. Mike |

Mike - these guys do IMS in a day. They don't stay overnight. Last year they met up with Jose & Linda and had dinner before they caught the train back to VA. |

Trying to coordinate the carpooling for the event. I'll be driving up from the Raleigh area, so far Mike Miller is my only passenger which means I have room for two more adults comfortably (3 more if we squeeze a bit). Anyone else want to join us? Carlos- Do you want to meet up around I95/64 somewhere that morning? Any suggestions for what exit and what time? |

Yes, I have Mark and Brankin at this point and maybe on or two more from work. I think we can meet up for breakfast like we did last time if you want. |

So what are the plans? Brankin, Mark and I are planning on driving up together from the east side. Do we want to meet in Wilson like we did a couple of years ago then hit the roads north? |

How can anyone say "NO!" to stuff like this? A disected Firebolt, sure to be an 1125R this year):
A V-Rod special edition:
with the most unique feature being on the headtube:
All good, except for the 'Star', except maybe for Rubberdown:
Where else can you see both Bob Saget and Weird Al checking out the Buell's?
In case you didn't quite see Weird Al:
Or after the show you might see treats like this:
or this:
or this:
or maybe even something like this:
It's amazing what the glasses did:
So, who else is in? 1313 |

From Raleigh it's probably better if we met you closer to Rocky Mount. Maybe somewhere on 95 North of 64? I'm not familiar with what's around there, but any exit with breakfast is good with me. What time do you want to meet? |

Mike - Sounds good but where? I am not familiar enough with Rocky Mount to suggest a place. If we do the standard Mickey D's, we need to drive about three miles into Rocky Mount on US301. As for time, I was planning on leaving here between 6:30-7am. Its about 1.5 hours to Rocky Mount from my house so 8-8:30am time frame. How does that work for everyone? |

Not sure. Where did we meet last time I drove up (2 years ago?)? I thought we took 64 to 95 and met you guys at a diner off of 95 somewhere. I was just playing in google maps, it looks like it's only an additional 10-15 minutes for us to take 264 down to 95 and meet you guys outside of Wilson. If that works better for you guys we can meet you there, just name the place. From Raleigh I can hit Wilson or Rocky Mount in under an hour, so meeting at 8am would work great. Just let me know. Mike- I can pick you up at your place on Saturday morning if that works for you. If so just email me your address and phone number. If not we can meet at Ray Price or something, it's close enough to the interstate. Jim Nance- Are you up for the trip? (Message edited by spike on January 06, 2008) |

Spike - Two years ago we met at the diner next to the HD dealership in Wilson. I can go either way, I just do not know Rocky Mount that well. If my memory serve, the diner had a good breakfast. It looks like we are up to five. Mark's son and my daughter want to come. |
