The big nut on the drive pulley is 1 7/8 inch socket.

I think you should buy my 12 motor and put it in tho.

I have a friend that lives down the road from me, he has a XB12 engine in his barn he's got for sale. Just give me the word and I'll give him a call. I'm sure he could work something out with you, he's a great guy. Swapping engines is a whole hell of a lot easier to do than what you have planned.

I think if we put your header and t-body on the 12 long block you would run fine.

I'm thinkin if we do this, I'll bring the bike down your way, do the swap, and see what problems arise with the ecm , throttlebody......
BUT I don't beleive the pipe will fit, isn't the 12 pipe bigger in diameter than the 9????

Only the diameter of the pipe, the outlet is the same size, I have Glitches old race can off his 9 on my Uly right now.

Coming down would work fine for me too.

I've been thinking of putting a 12 engine in my 9. If you buddy's engine does not get used in the project mentioned above, please let me know how much he wants for the engine, and what condition/mileage it is in.
