Where is this vacum fitting supose to go to? I am curantly trying to diagnose a knock in my 03-XB9R. I fear that it mite be a rod bearing, but I want to try all the easy stuff first. I don't think I've ever had this port plugged in to any thing. So maybe you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Doesn't that go to the charcoal can on the CA models? |

If so then I just don't need it. I don't have a charcoal can |

It is supposed to be capped off if that is the fitting I think it is. |

I'll try caping it. Maybe the cap blew off in a back fire. But it's been open for 3000-4000 miles. |

You may need a tps and AFV reset afterwards to get your ECM re-calibrated. |

Doesn't that go to the charcoal can on the CA models? Yup. Cap it if you're not running it into the charcoal canister. Or rather, OUT of the charcoal canister, that is how the engine pulls clean air through the gas overflow evap canister to recharge it. |
