I am looking for the polished factory tank decals. Where can I find them? I have them on my bike but I am repainting. They look like they are vinyl and they are raised. HELP PLEASE! |

>>>Where can I find them? What did your Buell dealer say when you asked for them? Uhhhh. . . you DID ask your Buell dealer right ? I'm going to go out on a line here and suggest there is no better place to get Buell decals than from a Buell dealer. |

I was trying to find them on the internet. The nearest Buell dealer is a 40 min drive. |

I was just looking for some quick help. Thought someone might have seen some on a site somewhere or someone had some. Don't need the ignorant response. Thanks Court! |

Several of the Buell dealers I have been to wouldn't know what you wanted and it would have been a special order anyway. Find a Badweb sponsor on this site. That would be a start. |

I'm going to go out on a line here and suggest there is no better place to get Buell decals than from a Buell dealer. Well, that might not actually be the case. I took my bike in for the 15K a while back and the dealer, who is normally very good about Buell stuff, let this knucklehead wash it before I picked it up. So I get there and notice immediately that the decal is missing from the front fairing. I ask what happened and only then do they realize that something is wrong. Apparently, he power washed it right off the plastic. Ok, no problem. Just get me a new one. So they order it and ship it right to my house. (I live 50 miles away.) It was a black/grey decal for an XB12R. I have a white XB9R and needed the blue/orange one. That was two months ago. Still not fixed.

What's the old saying . . . the moment you think it's idiot proof they come up with better idiots. You need to have a chat with your dealer. |

Hmm... I like that saying. I think I'll use it. |

Check Ebay, Buell decals. I got some there mainly for the car. And when you call your dealer know what decals they put on what type of Buell. I have an extra set of plastic for an 07 that was painted flat black (used to be cherry bomb), Had them painted black with red metal flake. Ordered the red decals off the 07 firebolt. They have the different colors, you just need to know what year and make they put them on. |

If you can't find one, let me know the year and make, I'll go to my dealership, order them(takes about a week most of the time) and mail 'em to you. |

Call Appleton and have them mail them to you. Go to the Sponsor page. You get a Badweb discount and that should cover the shipping. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/171 43/67339.html?1194579195 |
