I was at Barber Motorsports last monday for the Inside Track. What an awesome ride! This is the bike that I knew Buell was capable of. I told Lance that every Buell owner will feel a sense of vindication once they ride this motorcycle. Lance Holst was the chief instructor, It was an honor to meet him. The track was clean enough to give birth on and the overall experience was first class all the way. It shows quite a commitment on the behalf of Buell, Harley-Davidson and the participating dealerships to do something like this. After riding the 1125R I came home and bought ...you guessed it.. an Ulysses. The 1125R shines brightest on the track but I don't live on a racetrack, I live in reality. I commute 132 miles a day and truthfully should not have 146 HP. It's like the Big Gulp at 7-11; for $.25 more you can get 200 ounces but do you really need it? | ||

Congrats on the Uly. I first rode one in Feb 2006, wasn't thinking I needed another bike. Bought one this year. I rode the 1125r at Miller Motorsport Labor Day week, wasn't in the market. Now, well... I agree, if I lived nearer a track it would be an easier decision. Still.... |
