Love your XB but need more power? Here it is - Short stroke Big bore engine for sale, still fresh with approx. 3K miles on build. Was broken in properly on the street for 1K miles before track day use. Top end, primary, and gear case was disassembled and inspected 500 mi. ago and was perfect. And no, I have not had it on the dyno, one ride on this thing and I never cared about the numbers. All the best with reliability - runs on 110 Leaded race fuel or 93 Octane pump gas (very streetable, properly tuned) Complete design by Revolution Performance - this is not a hodge-podge of parts. '03 XB9 cases and crank Bore: 3.875" Stroke: 3.125" 1208cc Dark horse (Hoban Bros.) racing crank. Lightened, balanced, trued, welded. All new bearings and races on build along with transmission upgrades (if the trans parts had a revision, they were replaced). Cases were bored by RP to accept the 3.875" Millenium Technology Nikasil cylinders. RedShift 585 V2 Cams On build brand new heads w/stage 3 porting. Larger SS valves were fitted. 1.900" intake 1.615" Exhaust RP Titanium valve keepers. RP Behive Springs RP Hydro-Rev roller rockers. RP Adjustable pushrods. RP Hydro-Rev lifters CP 12:1 compression racing pistons Xb12 clutch spring with Barnett Kevlar plates Complete engine assy. (less intake and exhaust)$3800 & shipping Other items available: XB9 Intake manifold and throttle body and injectors opened up to 50MM by RP to match the porting. $150 Custom machined from billet 50MM velocity stack $100 Micron SS exhaust system with O2 bung welded to front pipe for wideband O2 fitment. Very slight damage to rear midpipe. $450 Buell Racing Factory programmable ECM with DOS software & manual. Perfectly tuned mapping for all of the above component configuration. $300 XBRR oil cooler with custom Aeroquip SS lines, custom mounting bracket,& modified XB "W" bracket assy. $150 These additional items will not be sold separately unless they are available after the engine sells. Everything here fits well as a package deal and would be the ultimate bolt-in performance package for your XB. PM for special pricing if you want the complete package. Neb25, ok, you got first dibs on that stuff after the engine sells, if available. Buelliedan, You've got the total investment correct, but the parts are not new anymore. Just like a new bike when it roles off the showroom floor it takes a big hit. Try to sell an '03 XB9 racebike and see what offers you get. I think I'am asking a very fair price, and considering what a complete '03 XB9R is going for these days...That's why it's being parted out - I'd really take a killing if I tried to sell it complete. My loss is your gain ( But I DID have an awful lot of fun with it, just the sound if this beast spinning up is worth the price). If Buell wouldn't have come out with the 1125r I wouldn't even consider selling it. | ||

The bike in good condition, the odometer has around 46,000 mi. It's white with orange lettering, and street legal (as long as you don't have EPA testing in your state) VIN #640 Extras / Mods: Hella 90mm headlights Extra bodywork as in a full race fairing - fiberglass upper, carbon Kevlar lower Innovative Perf. Racing 520 chain conversion/swingarm w/vortex sprockets Hyperpro Triple adjustable racing shock Hyperpro frt springs I'd have to get $7k for it - that's around what I would clear parting it out. | ||

Hold on guys, I gotta find a buyer for the engine first before I part the rest out. That's the deciding factor. If I don't get someone on here soon to buy it, I'm going to list it on ebay and it will probably end up in someone's chopper (waste). I can't believe there's not more interest here.....let me do the math......take your existing stock engine and sell it for $1500 - $2000, Install this one. Investment somewhere in the neighborhood of $1800-2300 for a built motor.. | ||
