Ha - couple of those pics reminded of me of the DOT workers around here - 2 or 3 guys doing all the work with a dozen just watching... It's nice to see this all coming together, and to be, as a Buell customer, kept so up to date on the progress. Care to share any of these differences? |

just giving you a hard time! although, even if it did start at 100, there will still have to be a 13th one off of the line;) |

Are the VIN's in order? I have a low VIN for my 05 9sx... always wondered if it was an early build. |

That's really neat; how often do we as owners think of, let alone get to see the great people responsible for building our toys. Hats off to Buell for giving the spotlight to the men and women "on the floor" and not just to the "stars" of the show. Makes me happy and proud to be a Buell owner. Huge thumbs up. Picture 12 & 13 are a pretty cool frontal look at the bike without the fairing. Has a bit of an alien/praying mantis look with the "bug eyes" hanging out front like that Henrik |

Henrik I thought the same thing about pics 12 and 13. But I was also thinking what would it look like with a little fly screen about them as if there were an 1125S |

Interesting to look at that photo. There are so many people in there, who's names never get out in public, who are so important to everything Buell does. I see one who worked essentially for free for a year in the old days . . . I see another who hatched some ideas that have impacted the course of Buell. . . one who's son recently came home from Iraq . . . a former model. . . a huge jazz fan . . . one of the most talented folks ever imported from Mexico . . . ditto India. . . ahh...the young man who I asked "what are you a rocket scientist?". . never expecting the "Yes" answer. . . well, he left NASA and he's right there shoulder to shoulder with the guy who machined some of the parts for the Buell bicycle . . ah . . and my pal who won the award in the 2 Meter Blast toss! . . (I still have the piece of the footpeg on my desk as evidence.) Turns out that the AMAZING MOTORCYCLE is only part of the story . . . these would be great folks you'd be proud to know if they were selling televisions in Sedalia, MO. . . Nice People Always Are - B. C. Forbes CONGRATULATIONS GANG ! |
