We might break the space-time continuom by doing this, BUT.... I'll be there too! Mike, It's gonna be cold as a mofo. We could make it 9am at McD's Busch Gardens. Gonna be a long day for you, bro, and I don't know of any Mexican places out there. |

Tank It's ALWAYS!!!! a long day for me when I play in your neighborhood. 3-4 hours for you guys turns into 5-6 hours for me. As far as cold goes I've got gloves, leather and a balaclava. We might break the space-time continuom by doing this, BUT.... I'm not sure if I am ready for the end of the world |

Done by 12? I think I will join in for the fun too... I might look a lil chunky, with my "improvised" cold weather riding gear (lol) |

I can't do it this weekend, maybe next weekend. I've been traveling too much and just need to catch up around the house. Get some wind-proof fleece to layer under the jacket, Mel. |

We have 5 yes that is right 5 committed, this could very well be a record. But then again there is the missing man factor. I guess we will see how it goes, in the worst case we can practice our missing man formation (Message edited by S1wmike on November 01, 2007) |

I rode to Williamsburg last night at 7 and it wasn't bad at all. I was wearing Draggin Jeans and a Joe Rocket 'Alter Ego' jacket. |

Hey guys, I introduced myself back a couple of weeks ago, but with TAD and computer problems, I just got back on. Anyway, there is a chance that I might not have duty this Sat, so if you all don't mind an extra body, I would like to get in one this. My wife and the my 3 rug rats are heading to Chicago for a week. So time is precious, and I need to take full advantage of this. I will check back tomorrow and let you all know if I can make it though. Dave |

Dave, Come on out! Take Busch Gardens exit off 64. Follow signs for Williamsburg. Once on rt60, McD's will be on the right. I'm thinking after we leave McD's, the next stop will be West Point for fuel top off(and/or breakfast). After that, I have no idea where we might find gas again. Ya'll know us XB-ers have a limited range due to fuel capacity(and monkey butt). |

Yeah... about that wind! I was gonna ride to work today, but a better educated guess made me climb into my cage. (pretty wicked out there) Any of you well seasoned riders got any tips for high wind riding? |

I rode today in the wind. I wasn't expecting to have to ride more than 6 miles total, but ended up going across the berkley bridge and everything. It was windy, thats for sure, but to be honest it didn't feel as "crazy" as everyone was telling me I was. Sure, my margin for error was greater, but it didn't seem too bad going back an forth between NNSY and NOB. Anywho, I got approval for the ride tomorrow, so I'm in. It's gonna be damn early. Kevin better appreciate all the work we are all putting in to ride with him!!! |

Mel, You might be surprised how well our little bikes handle the wind. I just like to "go with the flow", and try not to make corrections too drastically. Kind of like passing(or being passed by) an 18 wheeler. Just a little lean into the gust should do. The only difference is that you know when the truck is there, but you can't see the wind. This time of year is better because you might see some leaves blowing up ahead, which gives a little warning. Hope that helps?? See ya'll in the morning. Look for the Armored Warrior looking thing on a yellow XB9. |
