Got to ride 'pre-production' models of the 1125 last weekend at Barber's ! Best time I've ever had on bike. First time on a real track, and I was as impressed with my ride as I was of the others blowin' by me. Go put a deposit on one.

Glad to see more positive reviews of the 1125R. Now if I could only get them to set up a Demo ride here on Camp Taji, Iraq.

I'll second that, the bike is awesome in every respect. Too bad they taped over the speedos.

Awesome bike! Tires stick like glue in the corner. The bike has the best powerband in motorcycling "always on". More front brake than you can ever use.

I agree, I held the throttle a little to much on the front straigh and had to brake a little harder then expected but the whole track I keep "1" finger on the brake. GREAT BIKE and AWESOME TRACK. After the track when we got back to the hotel I felt like going and kick over my XB

Now now Lucas,
The ol' XB is a good bike. If you moving on to an 1125R, so some respect and send her off to a good home. No need for all that kickin' and such. Heck I may even go out and get an XB for my daily next year. Maybe a XB12Ss escort my beautiful wife around on.

oh I love my XB dont get me wrong but the 1125r is very impressive. I plan on holding off for now on a 1125r and keep riding the XB, its more bike then I will need. I find the 1125r will be a bike for someone that does track days and things like that

Barber is an awesome track. I've done three days there this year.

I really love that track. If I get a good drive out of the last turn on to the front straight, you can really haul ass then tap the brakes and set up for the fast turn one the flop over to the LONG right handers that make up turns two and three.

I also really like turn 12 up the hill on the back side of the track. Nothing like putting a knee on the deck heading up that blind rise.
