Bearly - definitely the trans-red and the trans-red letters on black airbox. Same for windscreen, which somebody will have to make. Add on some red anodized bar-ends and call it good.

Yep I'm with you there. Just a touch of Red here and there. I'm a bit worried about how that will look with the blue frame. But we'll see. I have Sunset Orange Lightning I could swap with but I don't think I'd like the looks of that. The air box cover on my Barricade Orange Uly is not going to happen.
All this talk about how one two dimensional picture of one bike looks like another 2 dimensional picture of another bike is a bit strange. Yep they have a fairing and two wheels. My vote is that the 1125R is just as pretty as any other bike can be. I wouldn't change a thing, except maybe some red wheels to make it look like mine from all the other 1000's 1125R's riding with me! :-)
Good job, and many congrats on the 1125R to all at Buell. Please stop making so many different models as this is getting expensive. |

This is kinda what I'm talking about. I'd want a license plate bracket like on my old 9R - minimal.
I think it would be too much if the windscreen is red too. It looks like you might be able to see through it, unlike the tiny thing on my 9R

I was told by one of the aftermarket people that an XBR type license bracket will be out soon after they get a production 1125 to work off of. It's high on my list too. |

I'm with Blake on the black & amber too. Sadly, thats what I'm trading in. After seeing the photo shopped pics I think Buell is trying to go stealth or very understated with this bikes entry. It looks good in nearly any bright color combo. Buell has been around long enough now to have some history and connect to the past. I think the frame and rims should have been Parkway Blue instead of this more industrial like Diamond Blue. |

I was wondering, what kind of paint would you use to paint the swing arm and frame. Not sure I like the blue on black. Maybe when mine gets in I will like it. I just want to stand out a little. |

I prefer the Suzuki. It looks more hi-tech, and seems crouched lower, and angled forward, like it's diving... more aggressive, I guess. While I like the 1125R over all, there's something I don't like about the side profile, though I can't quite put my finger on it. I'd like to see the 1125R scoops better integrated into the design... they look like a JC-Whitney-3M-taped afterthought. Why in the world didn't they go ahead and mold them in with the front fairing?

I'm thinking that they designed the pods to be separate as they are the crash protection for the bike. As such, they need to be easy and inexpensive to replace, unlike a bigger fairing. Personally, I don't like them at all and would prefer a different design. |

The pods save the frame very well. No pucks. I watched two bounce and slide quite hard at Willow. Nor was there any damage to the fork tubes or swing arm that I could tell and the bikes did not have sliders. But the right hand clutch case took a hit on both bikes. We were also told something was being done about that. Even if they are not an aftermarket protector looked easy to fab for it. |
