Cool.I wonder if we could gently release the front brake then ride it smoking? |

You tell em Eric. Surely not the thing to do for proper adults with jobs and kids and diesel pickups. |

Burnouts are silly and a waist of a good tire.... Agreed.... IF it was a good tire. Burnouts are enjoyable and make good use of already bad tires. |

I have vid of me doing a smiley face and a frown, just cant find it. My current rear has a few hundred miles left. I probably do a rolling burnout/donuts for that one. "I wonder if we could gently release the front brake then ride it smoking?" Not that easy. I "pop" the weight of the rear to get it to spin, then ride the brake., then start cutting the front in and out to donut from the rolling burnout. IMHO Its not the best idea to start a a hard burn then let off the brake. weight transfer is key. |

nice guys! PWG: cool, nice throttle and clutch control, plus I dig Ram Jam's "Black Betty" Natex: you have to wonder if the talking before he started is "I double dog dare you!" etc.. Eric: the smug smiley? cool! the vids: not bad, keep practicing, but it takes a while to really learn the skills if you don't have money/tires to burn so don't sweat it. BTW I saw you having trouble with the bike jumping up on the curb a bit, try a gear or even 2 higher and really get your weight up on the front to prevent that. Tq Freak: have a nice day! Ducxl: the motard donuts rock. Burn outs aren't silly if they are done for entertainment, or to warm up your tire for a drag race. Either way controlled conditions are a must. At an intersection in traffic is silly, and a good way to get jacked by the person behind you that just got vulcanized. So, carry on with the smoke shows, but be careful when you do it. |

Thanks, DiabloBrian! I'm still learning for sure. Maybe next time I'll try the rolling burn in second or so to get more SMOKE! Bam-ba-lam! |

Thanks Brian! The smiley is actually one that misato did i believe. Ahhh The curb f'up....I was testing the bike to see if the tire would get so hot/slippery I could just bump it up on the curb and see if it would burn....Nope Guess not If it wasn't so windy it would have been just silly, That WAS a Brandy new tire (had a small slash in it) and I was in third gear.Smoke was plenty going down the street I will keep practicing. I actually got another tire to kill, Any good Ideas on a nice smokey show? I hate the same old same old. I was thinking strap the bike in the back of the truck and have a buddy drive me down the street while I roast it off.Maybe not my best Idea but would be funny as hell... |

Here are my divits in the road. I swept up all the rubber in the road and filled in the hole after. One should do "Responsible" Burn outs and clean up after... |
