It just started this, 7300 miles, had tps reset at 2000 miles due to surge( they tagged me $130 for this) It was warmed up, (just rode it 70 miles) Shut it down for 20 minutes then started it up, tried to take off it coughs and backfires bad enough that I can't feather the throttle and get rolling. Once I got going and rode 5 or so miles it cleaned up. It does this every time I shut it down and start it up again. Bad plugs?? at 7300 miles?? |

Mine does that, with 17,000 miles on it and 2 TPS resets, new plugs wires etc. check your intake seals, I used water and got no results, maybe I should use the propane way??? Any Badweb suggestions? Once my bike it warm, she runs like a scalded ape... |

It almost acts like its fouling the plugs. After you run a bit it cleans up. Its not intake seals, fouled plugs would stay fouled. What controls the fuel flow at idle? |
