Bob, I will probably not ride to STL then to Columbia. 2hrs to STL then 2 to columbia makes little sense as Quincy to Columbia is 2hrs. but I will try to meet you guys if you know what time you guys might arrive. I need to check with our local deal to see if they are participating. Keith |

The DynoDrag truck is awesome, I ran it at Sturgis last summer. Be careful launching as it's real easy to just spin the tire on the drum. Josh |

My error, I'm sorry. When I said she was getting a Ninja. I really meant to say she was getting a Ninja. Sorry for the confusion. That's why I'm taking a trailer. |

Josh, where the hey is Glendale H-D?...On the web I can only find Glendale is AZ or CA and I presume Mariabelen's not riding the Blast to either... Keith, after I do the mapping thing this evening I'll have a better idea but I'd bet we'll be there one to one thirty...I'll post here tomorrow... Uh, Paul, so she just rides back at triple digits...Should be a good test of "professional courtesy"...And I know a good lawyer... See Ya! Bob |

KevinH was asking why I was getting the '02 (new style) front rotor instead of aftermarket and I replied price. He said he thought aftermarket was cheaper and mentioned he was getting gandalf? brakes for $230/rotor, $75/pads. I didn't have the price at the time but I do now: new '02 Buell rotor/carrier $105, EBC HH pads $39. Just cause I knew you all were wondering. Josh LETS GO BLUUUUUES! |

OK Keith, the route, and it's a good one with lots of alphabet roads, is 126 miles...So we should easily be there by 1 p.m. The wx is calling for scattered t-storms again just as it did last weekend and we stayed dry all day Sunday but we were in the right places at the right times...You never know this time of the year but as I said before, if you let that kind of forecast keep you from riding this time of the year, you're not going to ride much...If you would like, we could meet you in Fulton MO at the intersection of Hwy 54 and 4th St at noon...That's right at approx 100 miles from Quincy and about the same for us so if you leave about 10 it should work out...Then we'll take F and WW on into Columbia...First to get there just waits for the other group...Are you bringing any other riders?...We'd love to ride with you a bit... John, I'm going to take Pumpkin this weekend as I'm beginning to wonder if there's any way in hell we can complete the CA trip without a pit stop for tires...I'll bet we put on 7,500 miles... See Ya! Thanks Bob, sounds great. The dealership here in Quincy is not participating in the event either. I'll try to get a couple others to make the trip with me. I'll confirm the arrangements with you on friday. |

Bob/Kevyn L., ...I have your SLAB shirts!!! They look good. The smaller logo on a really nice Wrangler Denim shirt. I need to get them to you quickly, while it's still a little cool in the evenings. |

Racerboy .. There are no dealers in KC and Topeka KS that are participating in "Slay the Dragon Sweepstakes"... so we may see you tomorrow at Columbia ... Mid America Harley-Davidson/Buell 1016 Vanwood Way Columbia , MO , USA , 65202 (573)875-4444 (573)443-2311 (fax) I spoke to someone from sales and warned them of your intentions. I think I'll see what the weather does, see if Bill and Rich want to ride over... what time do you think your group will arrive? Tripp is in So. CA and won't be home in time Saturday. Jeff |

Sounds like it's going to be a great day in Columbia MO...We probably should have planned this a bit better but Columbia is pretty central for just about everyone... Yea, our dealers here suck big time on this one but in their defense I have seen a Buell memo to the dealers dated 3/28 telling them to withdraw all 'Bolt marketing as the scoots were not going to be ready...I don't know what happened after that memo 'cause our dealer's not a Buell dealer any longer... We are leaving from the Eureka MO QT (I-44 and 109/W on the south side) at 10 a.m. and meeting the Quincy group in Fulton MO at the intersection of Hwy 54 and 4th St at high noon...So this contingent should be in Columbia MO by 1 p.m. at the very latest...Depends on how many tickets we collect on the way... And just to make this a bit more interesting, I called the Missouri Pork Producers Association, spoke with the Executive Director and I now know where to find the BEST PORK CHOP in Columbia...This is now an Official Pork Chop Quest Ride...So eat light kiddies... Somewhere tomorrow you're going to get rained upon but let's not let that stop us...Ride smooooth... See Ya! Bob |

Bob, Just spoke to Jeremy with Mid-America Buell and he informed me only the first 30 people get free Buell T-shirts.. He didn't imply he would save any for us? I told him if you give them away before the Bueller's get there, it sounds like a bunch of H-D biker types cruising around with T-shirts they don't like!! Bill, Rich and I will be there either on bikes or via truck, but we will be there!! I'd ride my S3 with red cellophane taped to the tail light, I have one on order but won't get until Monday. The dealer has been notified and warned that there will be serious Bueller's onsite tomorrow!! Jeff |
