I just sent my pledge. Go Buell. By the way, I just heard that Higbee is going to be running number 14, which happens to be my lucky number. I think this is going to be a good year for Buell Racing. |

Thanks guys. Yes the BadWeatherBikers.com sponsorship passes are good for the entire event, from start to finish. Damn! I was thinking the BRAG ticket was good for the entire race weekend! Looks like I'll be watching Thursday's races from Hooters. I'm trying to decide is that is a bad thing, or a good thing. Dave, Better grab 'em quick before I decide. There are three of us who were thinking that the BRAG tickets covered the entire event. Silly us.
Walt, The decals are being printed, and the AMA techs WILL have a supply on hand and the BadWeB contingency program is slated to be printed in the tech sheet. We're very happy to send a set to any registered racer who wants to show 'em. |

Blake, I don't think I would feel right with me at the races with those tickets and you the one who put this all in motion watching from Hooters. If you decide you do not want them let me know and I will take two. I will go to the races regardless as tickets are easy to get at the gates but these are a smoking deal if they are good for all of the AMA races. |

Except for a few notable and forgetful custodians (AHEM!!!), that follow up rate is fantastic! I would bet most internet forums would be lucky to pull in 1/3 of what was pledged. |

Peter, Yes I'm going to VIR, we should be able to get a nice Buell crowd there, last year we had a nice group. Blake, I would not mind picking up the remaining two Badweb Tix for the VIR race, just let me for pay them closer to the event? |

Blake, I would like to buy a set of decals for my Bonneville Buell, we are felling pretty positive about getting the 1350 p-pp record this year. This board is pretty special to a lot of people. Thanks again for all you do |

Yes, I will be at the Daytona FUSA event as well as the rest of the FUSA schedule. With the new VIR AMA event scheduled, it looks like I'm up to three AMA dates; Pikes Peak, Mid-Ohio and VIR! |

Jim, I wasn't thinking of that at all I was going to put them on mine to sort of "show the colors". Guess I would like to get Blake some credit for all the work he does here. If you get to many sponsors they will want in on the "prize" money the SCTA and USFRA are famous for. We've now got 7 passes above 150 and three passes above the existing record. GPS had a max speed about 159 which is where we really want to be. We do have all of the 750 records we wanted to get plus one. This year we really work the Buell!! Our MPS 750 is only a 0.1 mph below the Buell, so we know there is more in it. Traction is the problem in p-pp no gearing options really. |

Is FX running at Road Atlanta this year and if so could I get one of those BadWeatherbikers sponsors passes for that race? Just wondering how that would work. Sorry if this has already been posted. Thanks. |

I sure don't want to have to share all that prize money from SCTA(HaHa)No gearing options???What are you running, stock belt? |

Jim, Got to run stock belt. Can change pulleys but no chain drive conversion. stock appearing means stock appearing. Some ways sort of interesting class. Buell brothers did a hell of a job to get it to 152+. We would have been there last year but wet salt got us nearly every morning we were in impound. Got a covered trailer so we could keep race bikes enclosed during the storms. Sure paid off last year. Good luck to you this year. Paul |

Well we ran 177 with the 27/55(or was it 29/55,can't remember,I had a 27,a 29 and a 30 tooth front there.)and the Baker 6 speed with the belt. |

Anyone else get a reply back from the AMA about the races? Mine read as follows: Dear Alex, Thanks for your message. I wish we could have all of our classes running at Laguna but the plain fact is Dorna (MotoGP organizers) just won't give use the time in the race schedule. I know that sucks but there is just nothing we (AMA Pro Racing) can do about it this year. I really like the Buell/Ducati aspects of the class myself but they have really tied our hands on this deal. Sorry that I don't have a better response... Regards, Merrill I plan on shooting the same email that I had sent to the AMA to Dorna tomorrow morning, just to see what I might hear from from. On a related note, It's awesome to see the amount we Badwebbers have collected so far, hopefully more to come. I'll be in for another $100 in a month or so, let's see how big we can make the fund grow! Prior (Message edited by awprior on February 23, 2005) |

Alex, I got a different response from Mr. Vanderslice, but I had suggested a different solution to the situation. I had suggested that they blend the Supersport and Formula Extreme classes for Laguna, to repay the favor of blending these same two classes for the Daytona 200. He said he would pass that suggestion on to the competition committee but nothing has been announced to date. |

Davefl, Those tickets for Daytona are yours if you want them. I'll not be needing them. Still one left for anyone wanting to represent the BadWeB and donate another $50 to the effort. If you've not yet joined the effort, then $75 takes the last ticket.
I received no response from the AMA on my email. Maybe cause I'm not a member? |

Your tickets plus a BadWeB PR kit are in the mail and on the way. You'll need to take your BadWeatherBikers.com event pass to the ticket counter and exchange it for event credentials. Just act like you know what you are doing and all will be fine. Hand out a few BadWeB cards and have a great time. Hope to see you there.
JQ, I was holding on to your event pass a little longer in hopes of sending you a few decals along with it, but the decals will be another week, so you got the home-made goofy looking BadWeB bidness cards too. Both of you should have received email notifications of the priority mail. Look for the passes on Tuesday maybe Monday if all goes swimmingly. See you there. Blake There's one more official BadWeB event pass left! Who wants to make another donation for a paltry $50 and get it as a complimentary gift?? You'll also get the official BadWeB PR kit. Heck, I'll even put your name on the cards too. That should attract the girls like you've never seen before. Anyone? Please? |
