Hey lucas, How much is the Full Street body kit? I have been afraid to ask Hals since I know I will have to save my money for it. That will be a next year purchase. If I wreck my 12R on the track this summer then maybe I can get it sooner. NO THANK YOU!!! I will just have to wait. Brupska |

I am interested in installing the full street body kit on my XB12R and was wondering if anyone had installed it on the XB12R and also how hard was it to install? |

yeah same way as the xb9r I got the brackets from hals to mount everything up just the roll pan hangs down so I made me some brackets to help support the roll pan. VERY EASY to mount up the kit, It comes with demples where to drill so drill the hole bolt everything together loosely then get it where you want the tighting it up |

That XB wheel looks sweet on the V Rod! I never liked the solid wheels those came with. To bad the XB wheels aren't designed to carry all that extra wait! |

Thats a pretty neat looking motorcycle that have attached behind that great big ugly radiator. I like the front wheel though As for strength, I would think it is fine, my XB will stand happily on it's front wheel alone during hard braking. Thats 400+ lbs of motorcycle, 230 (blush) pounds of rider, and a bunch of deceleration inertia. As I would expect stoppies to be just about impossible on a VRod, there is probably plenty of margin. I may chew up brake pads pretty quickly though. |
