Looking for some help from the throbbing brain that is BadWeatherBikers!

Has anyone removed the valve stems from their PM rims? I'm getting ready to send my rims out for a shot of clear powder coating. I can't find any info on removing the valve stems.

Thanks for any help!!!

Dennis

Any luck ,Dennis?I don't remember (and am sitting at work.)if the stems are rubber which means you cut them off with a razor knife(and replace with metal) or metal which means they screw apart.Good luck.

Jim...I just cut them off. I'll replace with metal when they come back from powder coat.
