what do you guys think of them? I need some boots for my track days. I currently own sidi MX boots. I thought about using them but they are too stiff (and old and beat up). I really would have liked their trials boots. but they don't sell them anymore. I'd probably use the boots riding dirt as well. I ride trails on an xr400 and a gasgas pampera. I'm looking for the ONE BOOT FITS ALL answer. I guess |

I've got a pair of the on road sympatex waterproof -- great boots, but I wouldn't recommend them for track days -- not nearly well armored enough, IMO |

I wear the Vertebra 2 Tepor (waterproof) when the weather's bad and for canyon riding. I like them, would have preferred leather but knowing my riding habits the tepor was a better choice. Kind of expensive for my budget, when/if I crash in them I'll know if it was worth the expense. |

I wear the Sidi On Road boots. Great boots. They ARE waterproof and very comfortable. They are NOT for off road use. The soles have very little in the way of cleats. You would be sliding everywhere. Track use? There are better for that purpose. Like the name says. They are made for ON ROAD. |

On the Road boots are comfortable, but mine had a long break in time. Waterproof to the max, and once broken in, all day comfort. |

I love my Sidi's. I think mine are called the Evo Tepors or something like that. Super comfy and good protection. Off road boots are totally different. I like my Alpinestars Tech 8s for off road duties. |

I have Vertabra 2 boots and find them very comfortable, give good support and fit quite snuggly (I wear stocking type socks in them NOT sport or 'boot' socks). I do wear them for both street and track use as they are armored (to some degree) and seem to breath nicely. I know they cost a bit more, but they give good service across the gamut of my riding. Hope that helps.. Later, |

I have the Sympatex GT but after a year the finish seems to be wearing off very quickly. Motonation? (the California reseller) doesn't have any advice on fixing the finish out of concern for clogging the leather pores and reducing the waterproof or comfort. |

Try the Combat Touring boots from Aerostich. They are Sidi made and very much like an old trials boot, from what I know about old trials boots. |

I love my Sidi's, I can wear them all day. Sometimes I do. |
