97 would have a 2 inch collector unless the header has been changed. 98 was 2.5 inch collector.

a 98 S1 would still have the 2" collector, the S1W would have the 2.5" collector.

You can have this for the cost of shipping.
I know it was stock on 1989 RS1200 because I own one. Believe also stock for 1997 S1.
2" collector.
Have extra difuser plates if you need them.

Yikes, that guy had a rough day haha. Surprised those came stock on a bike. Did they come with enough baffles/plates to make them run quiet like a normal stock bike, or did they just get away with a loud exhaust due to the bikes being sold in the 80s?

If Neil doesn't end up wanting it, I could put it to good use!
