Greetings: I have an 8 ft pickup bed leaving from Boulder to York, Maine late next week - empty. I will be headed back from Maine the following weekend. Both the route and travel times are very flexible, and I would like to offer the space to any Badwebber that has need of it. Reasonable side trips (Florida not included) are not out of the question and worth discussion. My time and the hauling is free, but I would appreciate help with diesel fuel for any side trip necessary. Regards, Don Casto Boulder, Colorado 303-524-9659 |

Tom: No problem-emo. Let's see . . . 2,000 lbs lobster @ $20/lb (?) . . . , 500 lbs dry ice . . ., tarps . . . Were you planning to send the payment to the lobster warehouse through Paypal? ;-{) Just let me know where to pick it up! Great to hear from you. Don |

>>>>. . . long time no Buell. You'll have to have a better excuse than that to placate me. You, and your considerable contributions to things Buell, have been missed. Be certain to let me know if your route brings you anywhere near NYC. Court |

Don, i concur with Court (yeah, that makes me nervous, too ) - not currently owning a functional Buell hasn't slowed me down a bit (despite pleas otherwise). you have a gift, and it's not fair not to share. |

Last Call for space in the truck . . . . I am leaving for York, Maine early Saturday AM and returning from there to Boulder on either 21, 22 or 23 January. Court - you have mail FB - thanks for the continuing kindnesses. Being without an operable two wheel ride has allowed my consciousness (or lack of it) to wander. Haven't had much to offer the motorcycle world except the view from the outside. Don |

You could always swing thru Wisconsin,Appleton in fact and pick up a Buell! |

Dave: I have been out of touch lately, but do you have one of the XB framed, longer wheel based, higher fuel capacity, passenger friendly, ergonomically enhanced for aching back/knee type owners and factory hard bag equipped "T" versions for sale? If so, I will indeed route through Appleton. Thanks for your continuing efforts on behalf of Buell owners everywhere . . .and those that still hope they may again return to the Buell fold. Don |

If you are comming to Maine the HD/Buell dealer in Portland has a 99 S3T with 25557 mi green in color that he might like to sell you. What you going to be doing up here in Maine? Sandy |

Sandy: I am sorry to say the trip is to visit with my mom. Her health is deteriorating rapidly enough that my previously planned Spring trip had to be moved up. I do not think there will be much in the way of touring or recreation this time. Thanks for the heads up on the S3T. At this point the later tubers are sort of a "been there done that" for me. I am once again pointing my F350 from Boulder, Colorado toward the East Coast to York, Maine on I-70 via Kansas City, St. Loius, West Va., Baltimore and then north with a stop in Philly. As before, the bed of the truck is empty and I would like to offer it to anyone having a motorcycle or freight in need of transport. You supply the tarping, tie downs and whatever diesel fuel is required for reasonable side trips. The Rub . . . I am trying to break the gravitational pull of The People's Republic of Boulder by this afternoon and there is a very limited time left for logistical planning. Don, bring me a load of cool mountain air... Just don't let it heat up on the way! Hope all is well with you and yours. rt |

Tom: I can get you a load of clean air that smells like mountain pines - but these days the temperature at loading could best be described as warm. I might be able to arrange a load from Leadville that would be almost cool, but it would also be very thin. Great to hear from you! I continue my search to find the Buell that will bring back into the warm embrace of the BWB community . . . Don |

Hi Don; like r.t. said - hope all is well. Don't need anything transported from CO, but might at some point need a bike or motor moved the other way - are you hauling stuff on the way back? Henrik |

Sir Henrik: The bed of the truck is empty both ways at present. The plan is to leave York, Maine on either Monday or Tuesday of next week and be back in Colorado by Thursday at the latest. I will be at my home number 303-524-9659 for about three more hours. I should be periodically reachable on my cell (303-619-6894) until I get to Maine. Once there I will be based at (207) 351-9963. Let me know if I can help out. Regards, Don |

Having seen pictures posted of what Court moves around I sure hope he posts a pic of whatever he is planning to load into Don's truck. Don, you did say you have an F350,000,000,000 didn't you? Have a safe trip. Mike. |

Thanks, Mike. Got the call from Sir Court and he did not have to swear me to "super double security secret" status to haul the freight. As a matter of fact, even with Court's package there may still be room . . . Great to hear from you Mr. Jaquet! Don |
