And being Leftist Racist Liars, I'm sure there's a reason to lie about this. .... I'd like to point out a logical fallacy in several pundit's statements. Not just this week, but for many years. Usually it takes the form of "The People of country X voted for their Glorious Leaders so they are just as bad/should be blamed too". Yeah, no. Yes, the "Palestinians" spitting on a murdered woman are evil men who should be fed to pigs, no doubt. But that's just what the evil Glorious Leaders want you to see. Yes, there was an election, years ago, where the Regime of evil men took power. Doesn't mean a majority support them, or even a majority voted for them. And protesting against the Glorious Leaders or even saying in public they aren't legit will get you thrown in prison and/or killed. Not just in Gaza. Lots of places for many years. You can think of examples, I'm sure, where even peacefully expressing their skepticism got good people severe punishment. And evil regimes use informants and "cancel" their Enemies among their own Subjects, often with "disappearances" and years in jail. So "they voted for it" is not a good phrase to judge strangers. It's at best a selective partial truth, and often really doesn't apply to most Subjects. Sure, you can say that it might be great if the people of X threw off their figurative chains and overthrew their evil regime. Harder in practice than theory. Ask Canadians. And yes, after years of indoctrination, the Good folk who aren't brainwashed are hard to pick out from the zombie hordes. They HAVE to blend in or be destroyed. So while it's Easy to say that "they didn't stop it so they all should pay" it's not really fair to say all the folk in Gaza, or Harvard, or Baltimore, deserve to be killed for supporting the monsters who rule them. That said. I hope some of the Good folk escape. Because the Bad Guys are using them as shields. | ||

( no need here to repeat my arguments for marriage ) I'm not going to ignore that marriage is hard and too often ends badly, but it's far better than solo efforts to raise kids and get by in an inflationary world that's difficult for anybody. Unlike Joe* I don't have a lie to tell about any epiphanies in my constantly evolving attitude on life. And I don't feel any need to deny I've been wrong. Ever.
