It's simply time to move on to a newer bike. I attended an Indian and Harley demo day and feel ready for something more modern and would like to start saving. I am the second owner, acquired at 8k miles in 2020. Since then I have replaced just about everything on the bike. It is in excellent mechanical condition and as stock as you would want it. In addition to regular service at factory recommended intervals (oils, filters, fluids) I have performed the following upgrades within the last 5K miles, save for the rear shock and fuel pump which I bought at 8K: -New Rear shock from Twin Motorcycles (Bought when I got the bike) -New Fuel Pump (Cant remember the brand, bought when I got the bike) -New Rocker box gaskets from HD -Rebuilt Forks with 15Wt oil from Bel Ray -New VR and Stator from Cycle Electric -New Engine Isolators, all three (left, right, and front) from St. Paul Buell -New Exhaust gaskets and Stud Nuts from James Gaskets -New Updated Front exhaust mount (wishbone style) -New Rear Exhaust mount clamp -New Drive Belt from S&S -New O2 sensor from St. Paul Buell -New Bronze Oil Pump Gear from Hammer Performance -New Clutch (Extra plate kit) from Barnett -New Wheel Bearings front and rear from St. Paul Buell(installed by a shop) -New Crank oil seal from S&S -New OEM Headlamp from St. Paul -New Ultra bright halogen bulb from Sylvania -New Battery from HD Oakland -New Shifter Pawl nuts from HD Oakland -New primary chain Tensioner from HD Oakland -New Clutch Cable from Motion Pro -New Throttle and Idle Cables from St. Paul Buell and Motion Pro -New Fuel Filter from Wix -New Fuses (including main 30A fuse), Diodes, and Relays -New Brake Pads front and rear from HBC Needs right now: -Front Turn signals (they are floppy but work) -New Tires (Riding on Shinko Ravens from 2020) -New Dummy lights for oil pressure, high beam, and right turn signal (I have them and will install soon) Services to perform in the future: -New steering head bearings (I have the parts) -New swing arm bearings It is my daily rider so it is a bit dirty. Reducing price to $3800 for badwebbers. Will be posting to Facebook/Craigs soon, would much rather one of you take it. The bike is truly a joy and all the pains of the early year tuber defects are well ironed out. |
