Any one know where I can view the difference between a stock 04 xb12r and one with the buell race kit ? they don't show it on the buell accessories page.

If you havent done the race kit yet dont waist your money. I will tell you from experiance they loose tons of bottom end power. Yes they gain alot of top end and turn alot of heads but the low end wheelie power gets reduced

Maybe that is true for the 12 (I don't know), but I have seen dynos for the 9's, and the race kit is better across the board.

It is plausible that this is not the case for the 12 however, that interactive exhaust would be tough to beet with any standard pipe.

Very untrue. You won't lose tons of bottom end.If that were true none of these pipe out there for the 12 would work.I've ridden three and owned two.The race pipe felt some bottom end loss not much. The Drummer I owned great pipe pepped it up some across the board but not much. Now I have the D&D and I like it the best.Seems the power comes on harder.

Save your money, get a decent pipe and a TFi, use the K&N, drill out the air box...

BadS1, with that D&D coming on strong low, do you feel a loss in the top end? The dyno on their web page shows a loss top end compared to stock.

I couldn't pass up the price of the race kit. the dealership had 20% off all HD and Buell parts until 12/24/04 and I had $250.00 in harley chrome cash. So out of pocket the kit only cost me just about $260.00 not a bad deal at all. I'll give it a try, if I don't like it i'll put it on e-bay. But I was still looking for the dyno chart on stock vs race kit
