OK, it's a done deal! Since Edge Performance Riding Courses is no longer doing track days I had to find a new track day organization to pimp for. I am now working with Leon at Private Track Time. Dates for this coming summer are as follows, May 25th Blackhawk Farms June 23rd Autobahn, Joliet IL http://www.autobahncountryclub.net/ July 2-3rd Blackhawk (this is for you that whine about them always being during the week!) July 27th Blackhawk Sept 8th Autobahn Cost is $150.00 per day You can check out details at www.privatetracktime.com Please register thru me! I have committed to signing up at least 8 riders per track day so help me out. Start making plans now! Do not put this off until the last one of the summer, you will be bummed you can't do more. If you have questions feel free to call or email me. 1-866-757-1651 or daves@h-dappleton.com PS, Leon rides a Buell! |

I had no idea that autobahn would be open to non-members. I really thought it was going to remain an exclusive facility, but glad to see it available. I'm very interested. |

Count me in, but from what I have determined, that new club is a pretty exclusive one. I have yet to find any info. about track days, rental or other uses for any "non members". If you can Dave, please verify directly with the track that it is part of policy. The place just opened two months ago, I'm sure they are still trying to figure out the best way to run it and make a few dollars at the same time. Maybe someone can just join (for $20,000) and bring a few guests. |

There are a few outfits that are having track days there. I know when it was first announced it seemed like it was going to be a country club with members only. Maybe they are having a hard time finding enough people to fork out $20K+? Dave I responded to your other post. Im in for at least 2 Blackhawk days & 1 Autobahn..maybe 2 if we can try both tracks. Plus at least 1 day at Road America. |

I'm up for July 2nd & 3rd. Would there be a discount for 2 consecutive days? |

Dyna.... Sportbiketracktime.com has their 2005 schedule listed on the website (no pricing yet). I'm looking at one of the August dates (9th or 10th) for Road America. The June date is too close to the Deals Gap/Homecoming week. They say that prices will be posted tomorrow. |

I have been keeping a watch on that as well. Later in the year works much better for me also. RA is a fun track, damn big & with the elevation changes & big carousel its a lot more fun than the smaller tracks..imho of course. |

Sportbike Track Time has their pricing up for 2005. Road America prices: $165 for the June 8th date and $175 for August single day or $335 for both days. |

I'm in for at least 2 at Blackhawk and 1 at Autoban. If anyone here hasn't been to one of Leon's trackdays before, in my opinion, he does a really good job. |
